Florida keys, en iyi plajlar

We arrived late on Friday night and stayed for just two nights. It was my first visit to the Keys, and I was unsure if the location would be ideal, but it turned out to be fantastic. On Saturday, we explored Key West and other spots along the way (we saw key deer and flamingos). The drive took about two hours each way. On Sunday morning, we took our time to enjoy our stay. We had the corner unit 301 and slept with the windows open, listening to the sound of the ocean. I was initially concerned about the shared deck, but it was quite peaceful and quiet. After checking out, we drove into the Everglades before heading to our next hotel in Hollywood. Just a heads-up, it can get a bit windy, and the Keys aren't particularly known for their beaches.

This was our second visit this year, and once again, everything was exceptional. The pool opened during our stay, and we were the first guests to enjoy it—truly a masterpiece! Sandra, Sarah, and the entire staff are fantastic. They cater to your every need, yet you hardly notice they are there unless you require something. This is the perfect place for disconnecting and true relaxation; we only saw two other guests during our entire stay. In contrast, our grown children stayed next door at Cheeca Lodge, where we met for a drink—I couldn't wait to return to the serenity of the Moorings! If you need a reminder that the larger world still exists, simply walk five minutes from the property to the finest restaurants, bars, and shops the Florida Keys have to offer. Every detail here is immaculate, and the only sounds are palm trees swaying in the breeze, birds singing, and waves gently lapping the beach. I only checked my phone to confirm a dinner reservation and, regrettably, my return flight home. There is no television (except for the FIFA and Eagles game!), and I never missed it. Best property, best staff, best ownership. There is no corporate involvement here, just pride of ownership and a level of care that can only come when the top priority is the guest experience. The property owner and staff are solely focused on that. Such a rarity these days, but what a difference it makes.

Bu plajda kaldığımız süre boyunca harika bir zaman geçirdik. Personel, geldiğimiz andan itibaren ayrıldığımız ana kadar harikaydı. Ayrıca odamızın hemen arkasında özel bir ekranlı şezlong alanına sahip olmak da harikaydı. Elements'teki lezzetli kahvaltının tadını çıkardık! Konaklamamızın en önemli anı, okyanusun hemen yanında oturup bir deniz inekbalığı yüzeye çıkarken tanık olmaktı! Eğer tekrar Keys'e gelirsek, kesinlikle geri döneriz.

Bu mevsimde yüzmek için tercih edeceğim bir plaj değil. Kıyıda birçok bebek ve orta boy Portekiz Savaşçısı denizanası vardı. Yine de gezmek ve keşfetmek için harika bir yerdi. Sayısız yengeç, ermit yengeci ve bebek deniz salyangozlarıyla karşılaştık. Ayrıca etkileyici balıklar ve bir sürü kertenkele gözlemledik. Doğal dünyayı keşfetmek ve hayranlıkla gezmek için büyüleyici bir yerdi.

Plaj inanılmaz güzel ve çok güzel mermiler vardı. Ancak, bu özel noktadaki su oldukça bulutlu, bu da beni görmeyi tercih ettiğim için orada yüzmeyi tereddüt etti. Suyun dinlenmesi için düzenli duraklar ve molalar da dahil olmak üzere, orada yürüyüş yapmak için toplam 3 saat 40 dakika sürdü. Eğer o plajda kamp yapsaydım, kesinlikle beni bırakacak bir tekneyi tercih ederim. Haha.

It's a beautiful place, but the evenings are a mosquito nightmare. Deet worked well on my body, but the noseeums got into my scalp and all over my face. Lol, I also decided not to snorkel here after seeing some fins. The daytime wasn't as bad, but I still got a few bites.
