Impressive, amazing and wonderful place to relax and explore… mostly if you like small caves. Check the tides time before going… you can get into the cave only on low tides.
Went to see the fairy floss caves but saw so much. I think we went the long way as we walked at least 2 hours each way but definitely worth it for the beautiful sites and fresh air. Wish there was a toilet there. Be sure to go to the bathroom before you get there as otherwise your left with holding it or the bush. Be sure to check the tides before you go to ensure you can reach the candy caves however even if you don’t get to see them the beach is still beautiful. Although I saw them I was so distracted I forgot to take pictures, fortunately my husband got it all on his go pro.
Approximately 2-2.5km walk to Mooney beach. The track is wide and relatively easy…down hill most of the way there and uphill back to the car park in the national park.
Mooney beach is magnificent, good surfing when swell is up, good fishing according to the locals and soft clean sand..great place for a walk or swim and not too crowded at all…
Just a brilliant beach 🏖️, the Moonee Beach track is closed but you can use the alternative track. It can be a bit muddy/ wet and a bit of fun getting to the beach, great adventure for the kids if you like the outdoors.
