A serene and picturesque beach that is easily accessible by ferry. Although I didn't swim, I observed many people enjoying the water in the bay area. The ferry ride itself was fantastic, offering plenty of clear views of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, making for great photo opportunities. You can get there via the Manly Fast Ferry or the Sydney Ferry.
We also walked over to Shelly Beach, where there are plenty of hiking trails with amazing photo opportunities. After an initial stretch of easy to moderate rough terrain, most of the trails are flat with a few steps and are very well maintained. The trails are lined with beautiful plants, birds, and flora. I wish I had more time to fully enjoy the trails.
