*The Fall Foliage Tour runs from October 3rd to 31st* Join a small group of like-minded individuals for a jeep ride on America's most famous roadway. This tour takes you on the most iconic stretch of the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, where you will enjoy endless views from your seat in our custom jeep. Your local guide will share stories about Pisgah National Forest, its rich history, and unique biodiversity, and we will stop at our favorite overlooks with the best vistas and great picture spots, guaranteed to make your friends and family jealous! We will take you up to 5,500 feet above sea level, through dense forest, and miles and miles of views. Important: Mountain weather is extremely unpredictable. Rain is very normal in these mountains. We will make sure you have ponchos but be prepared to get wet on this tour. If the weather becomes dangerous and we must cancel the trip, you will receive a full refund.

We pick you up at your hotel or lodging! A seasoned local guide will pick you up at your accommodation within 3 miles of city center (One North Pack Square) or will meet you at the Asheville Visitor Center if you are staying outside that distance. The excursion will take you through beautiful mountain scenery on the way to visit three impressive waterfalls and two protected forests as well as a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway (weather permitting) to discover the amazing views surrounding this iconic road that connects two National Parks. We provide comfortable seating in a climate controlled van. Drinks/snacks are included. IMPORTANT Guest should be prepared for walking approximately 3 miles on the hiking portion of this tour over a period of 2 hours, including stops at the falls and you should feel comfortable walking this distance before making a booking. The tour is not suitable for children under 12. We will return to Asheville by approximately 1:30 p.m.

We will also travel up the famous Blue Ridge Parkway and see the long-range views from 5,000' above sea level. Your guide will tell you about the rich history of this national forest as well as the amazing flora and fauna home to these mountains around Asheville! We want to make the trip easy for you! Enjoy this relaxing and spectacularly beautiful float through the breathtaking Biltmore property. This calm water trip begins in the heart of Asheville at our Outpost. We shuttle you to our private access point to launch your trip. The trip lasts approximately 2.5-3 hours. On this trip you will float down the majestic French Broad river starting south of the city. Along the way you will see views of the surrounding southern Appalachian mountains and will often have a chance to see some of the local wildlife (if you’re lucky). At the conclusion of this trip you will finish back at our Outpost in the heart of the famous River Arts District where you can relax and enjoy a beer at our bar by the river.
