The French Broad river spans 218 miles from Rosman, North Carolina through Asheville, and toward the state of Tennessee. Section 9 of the French Broad river starts approximately 45 minutes away from Asheville near Marshall, North Carolina and runs through the Pisgah National Forest. The majority of French Broad Section 9 flows through protected lands, and is beginner-friendly. The Bender family continues a 50 year tradition of traveling in open air style safari vehicles north of Corolla along the ocean and sand dunes on a 2 hour, small group, excursion sharing history and ecology along the way. We stop for several photo opportunities and points of interests along the way, as well including private access to the Wild Horse Conservation Area. This tour also includes a professional and knowledgeable horse guide to educate you on what you are seeing. Choose from one of 3 departure times when you book. The maximum will be TWELVE (12) people. If you have more than 12 people please call us directly for accommodations. We will NOT be able to allow any children UNDER 45 POUNDS on the tour.

Asheville is known for Beer and Nature! We combine the two. This is a fun trip to bar hop by raft. We will casually float down river and stop 3 times some local bars and breweries. I will have a cooler with ice and you are welcome to bring your own beverages along. This tour follows along the river and requires climbing up some muddy river banks and descending stairs. We will relax and enjoy cold beverages and river views. We will stop at The Wedge Brewery at the Foundation and grab some food from the food truck. We will end at New Belgium Brewery. I recommend parking at Hominy Creek River Park and then taking a ride share to retrieve your vehicle when you are safe to drive. You can leave your vehicle overnight there if you need to. The French Broad river spans 218 miles from Rosman, North Carolina through Asheville, and toward the state of Tennessee. Section 9 of the French Broad river starts approximately 45 minutes away from Asheville near Marshall, North Carolina and runs through the Pisgah National Forest. The majority of French Broad Section 9 flows through protected lands, and is beginner-friendly. The French Broad river spans 218 miles from Rosman, North Carolina through Asheville, and toward the state of Tennessee. Section 9 of the French Broad river starts approximately 45 minutes away from Asheville near Marshall, North Carolina and runs through the Pisgah National Forest. The majority of French Broad Section 9 flows through protected lands, and is beginner-friendly. Our Rydables tour will entertain your entire family - from toddlers to grandparents on a fun guided tour of Uptown Charlotte! Ages 2 to 11 years old can ride seated in front of their adult. Most 12 year olds and up can operate one on their own. We start with a training session so that customers can get used to driving the easy-to-operate Rydables. When everyone is a comfy, we'll take off in a single file moving menagerie on a one-of-a-kind exploration of the city. INDULGE YOUR INNER CHILD as you whiz through our parks and historic areas. We stop for several photo opportunities and points of interests along the way, as well including private access to the Wild Horse Conservation Area. Asheville is known for Beer and Nature! We combine the two. This is a fun trip to bar hop by raft. We will casually float down river and stop 3 times some local bars and breweries. I will have a cooler with ice and you are welcome to bring your own beverages along. This tour follows along the river and requires climbing up some muddy river banks and descending stairs. We will relax and enjoy cold beverages and river views. We will stop at The Wedge Brewery at the Foundation and grab some food from the food truck. We will end at New Belgium Brewery. I recommend parking at Hominy Creek River Park and then taking a ride share to retrieve your vehicle when you are safe to drive. You can leave your vehicle overnight there if you need to. We will meet you by the stairs to the river. Other things to note: Must be comfortable with water. Kids at least 15 can accompany their parents but obviously will not be able to consume alcohol.
