Saletoga Beach

From first contact through to departure everything was friendly and efficient. Rooms were spacious, well maintained and clean. Grounds are beautiful. Meals were very good with menu options changing each day. Prices were reasonable. Snorkelling was very close to resort, but coral is average. Pool is great. Good tours were available, as well as the option to hire cars or scooters. Everything is billed to your room, and simply pay by Credit card on departure. No night club or casino ... this resort is for families and couples.

Our family couldn't be happier with our stay at Saletoga Sands. Our young children loved all the things there were to do at the resort including the waterslides into the ocean, the large swimming pool and the great food. The morning breakfasts had large portion sizes and high quality food. We only stayed 2 nights, but wish we would have been able to stay longer. Thank you Saletoga Sands staff for making our stay a great one!

Stayed here for 3 nights in July 2024. Had booked our room in Jan 2024 and for rooms close to the pool and restaurant. When we had arrived for check-in they had told me they had messed up my booking and had instead placed my family in the family villas at the very end of the resort 🙃 Once we reached our room we had issues with almost everything. There were roaches in the bedroom and the shower could only produce freezing cold water or boiling hot water. The room had no phone so I wasn’t able to ring reception but instead had to walk all the way to the other side of the resort to let them know about the problems. When I got to the reception they said they will send the maintenance guy. He came the first time and said he fixed it when I went back to the room nothing had changed I had to walk back to the reception to tell them. He came to the room second time he said he fixed it I checked again. And nothing had changed. I told reception to change our room they said they couldn’t because it was fully booked out. How is that my problem???? My family and I couldn’t have proper shower the 3 nights we stayed there. Oh and the air con was useless! It couldn’t cool the entire room and the room with the single beds was always hot and the ceiling fan was stuck on slow 🙃 While we were out on our second day we had returned to the room and it was extremely humid with heaps of small bugs inside. How inconvenient I went to reception and complained yet they still did nothing. The only thing I liked was the pool the food was that great either and my room didn’t get serviced on third day. Want to know why the family villas are placed on the other side of the resort??? Far away from the main pool and main restaurant? I wouldn’t come back here especially for the price I paid for.

Nicely done resort, but lacking in Samoan soul. The grounds were lovely but it felt really flat when we were there. Lots of potential at this resort, but something about it just wasn't quite right. Lovely designed, spacious rooms, they acknowledged my birthday which was so kind, but our room smelt of septic, must have been an outside leak of some kind. Staff came knocking at our door at 7.40am whilst whole family was asleep, a bit disappointed to be woken up by this. Dinner food was nice, however expensive and weak cocktails, stick to beer and wine. Spa staff were lovely. We had really been looking forward to this stay, but preferred our casual Fale experience over the resort stay.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🥥 🌴 🍹 🐟 We had an amazing experience staying at this Hotel. I travelled with my teenage son and daughter. The location is stunning and very accessible to many local attractions. The staff are very friendly and informative. The food is exceptional, hats off to the Head Chef and his team for delivering fine cuisine. The resort has its own fishing charters and the skipper knows where to get the big fish. A big thankyou to all the team at the resort, you are all amazing 😍. We will definitely be back🌴🍹 🍺
