Our guided City Skyline Kayak Tours are 1.5–2 hours long and follow the Milwaukee River up towards downtown Milwaukee. We do not make any stops along the way for this tour, but we do provide details about Milwaukee's history and attractions along the river. Our knowledgeable guides will provide you with any kayaking instruction you may need and ensure you feel safe and comfortable on this beginner-level tour.

This tour will take you along historic Cottage Row in Fish Creek where you'll view homes of new and old. The rich history of this waterfront shoreline will display why this stretch of land is some of the most desirable waterfront property in Door County. We will then take the boat off shore to the Strawberry Islands with Chambers Island in the distance. Learn about the camp on Adventure Island that was once a destination for local kids in the summertime. Lastly, we'll get you up close to Eagle Bluff Lighthouse. Built in 1848 from Cream City Brick, this beacon was once a key navigational aid to crossing through the Strawberry Channel.

This kayak tour sets off to see a few of the many precious gems of Door County. You will experience thousand year old caves, ancient fossils, and Whitefish Dunes State Park. After an introductory lesson and a calm launch from a location north of Cave Point, you'll follow the coast until seeing the coves of Cave Point County Park where you'll creep along listening to the wonderful sound of the water and enjoying the view of the caves. Then explore the caves with the kayaks, and finally head towards Whitefish Bay Dunes State Park. At this point, you will turn around and return to the launch location or head to the take-out point at the Whitefish Bay Town boat launch (dependent upon the wind). The caves are not viewable from the land. The open zone grades into second-growth wet-mesic forest of white cedar, white spruce, balsam fir and black ash. This is an example of boreal forest habitat which a rare community type to be found in Wisconsin. This tour takes you along the beautiful shoreline of Peninsula State Park. You will learn about the area's rich history and see sights like Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, built in 1848. The highlight of the tour gets you up close to Eagle Bluff directly below the point where Eagle Tower sits in the park. Here, you'll see evidence of how this body of water was once part of the Silurian Sea by viewing the caves high above in the rock formations. We'll then cruise past Horseshoe Island, known as one of the safest natural harbors in the Great Lakes. While heading back to Fish Creek, we will talk about the 4 Strawberry Islands and the distant Chambers Island.

The Hearthstone is a large, beautifully restored Queen Anne Victorian Style home built in 1882 by Henry J. Rogers, Superintendent of the Appleton Paper and Pulp Mill. On September 30, 1882, Hearthstone was the first house in the world to be lit by an Edison central hydroelectric power station. The house retains many unique, genuine features, including the original Thomas Edison electroliers and light switches.
