The after dark feeding tour is an experience that is unique to Devils@Cradle. This tour provides an unforgettable experience, and the opportunity to observe these extraordinary animals whilst one of our keepers gives you a greater understanding of them, and details the conservation work being undertaken within the facility. Devils and quolls are primarily nocturnal species, therefore are far more active at night, and the introduction of food generally stimulates some fierce competition between them. We use environmentally sensitive lighting and focus on the social interactions and feeding habits of these unique carnivores, allowing visitors a rare up close opportunity of seeing Tasmanian devils in a group feeding situation - quite a spectacular sight!

kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus is the official shuttle bus for kunanyi / Mount Wellington. Join us as we travel 1270 metres above sea level to experience spectacular views over Hobart and southern Tasmania. The 2.5 hr return tour includes 30 minutes to take in the views from the lookouts and observation shelter at the summit. Buses depart daily from Hobart’s waterfront. OR, if you’re looking for a little more adventure, you have the option to hop-on and hop-off at 5 Wellington Park bus stops where you’ll find a variety of alpine walking tracks to explore.
