Visited St Pauls Beach from the Coppins Track, on our way to Sorrento. The photos don't show it, but there was a Southern Ocean cold front passing. The weather here can change from hour to hour, so be prepared for anything. However, between squalls, the views were fantastic.
No access to the beach due to rock collapses
However, stunning view of blue ocean, spectacular rock formation and durable cliff can be seen from the cliff and it worths it.
Have taken a walk to sorrento back beach via the coastal walk and the view is good!
Excellent walks and a Beach for all ages!
St. Pauls beach is just about 60km from the Melbourne CBD and provides a get away from the urban landscape, and awesome fun in nature
How to get there:
About 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne, St. Pauls beach has no easy public transport options. Take a train to the Frankston Station and get Bus Route 788. About 1km walk and you are at the beach.
Activities:
Unfortunately the beach is currently closed owing to the cliff collapses. However, the walk to Sorrento Life Savers Club from St Pauls beach is still a worthwhile attraction for its picturesque views.
