We start the day at Olivers Taranga vineyards where we get to taste wines in the beautiful cellar door next to the vines that the fruit is sourced from. Our 2nd visit is to the Iconic d’Arenberg Cube described as a winery built within a Rubik’s Cube Once we have finished exploring the five levels of the Cube, we sit down for a delicious 2-course lunch at the award winning d’Arry’s Verandah restaurant where our guests select their own dishes from the seasonal à la carte menu. After lunch we finish the day at Hugo* wines and sample an excellent range of their small batch varietals, at one of the prettiest Cellar Doors and surroundings in the region. *We can offer an excellent alternate winery if your private group prefers a range of alternate Italian varieties to include Whites, Rose and Reds. Your Tasting in the Dark Experience will begin at the Hardys Tintara Cellar Door. You will meet your host at the Cellar Door where you will be guided to our Fortified Barrel Hall. This room is on the bottom level of the original winery, and maintains a constant temperature of 18 degrees Celsius, so make sure to bring a jacket in the colder months. Your host will then guide you through the wine tasting process and describe what role each of the senses play during the process. With the lights turned down, blindfolds on, and sipping from black wine glasses, you will discover what happens when you remove the sense of sight, and understand how it influences your wine tasting experience. After departing from our home base in the peaceful Hoffnungsthal Valley, it's time to relax and take in the gorgeous sights and surrounds as you enjoy the beautiful scenic helicopter flight northeast over Rowland Flat, home of Jacob’s Creek Winery, where some of Australia’s largest wine tanks are located. Spend some time marveling over the fact that these tanks hold up to 1.4 million litres of WINE before you get a stunning bird’s eye view of the southern end of the Barossa. Just sit back and enjoy the flight as we take you past the quaint town of Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall following up stream to the South Para Reservoirs before returning to our base via Williamstown, capturing a perfect view of the idyllic southern Barossa Ranges.

Get a glimpse of Kangaroo Island’s history, culture, and local products on our half-day exploration of Kangaroo Island. Visit the iconic Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery where you learn about the manufacturing process and view a large range of local products and produce. Next stop is the Island Beehive where you can taste and purchase some of the purest honey in the world. Then travel to the township of Kingscote. You will have 1 hour to explore the main township, shop at the local gift shops or have lunch in one of the local cafes. As you depart Kingscote, drive past the famous Silo Art which has become a fan favorite. An amazing photo opportunity! Next you travel to Kangaroo Island Brewery where a fantastic taste testing of their famous craft beers and ciders await you. Enjoy your transfer to Pennington Bay a wild and rocky coastline perfect for photos! Having visiting several different key locations and enjoy sampling local goods and products you head back to Penneshaw.

With over 27 years in Adelaide & the Tourism Industry we have great knowledge about Adelaide and Hahndorf. This is a Narrated Tour and is subject to change as sometimes we have requests to maybe go a longer way thru the Adelaide Hills weather permitting. Sometimes we may skip Mt Lofty. If you can't see it from the city we will waste are time going there, which may give us more time to visit another area along the way or spend more time in Hahndorf itself. It is a group tour, totally a shared experience and numbers can reach up to 25 in a day and can be accommodated in a car, minibus, and bus/coach.

Lifting off from the heli-pad in the Hoffnungsthal Valley, enjoy flying past Lyndoch before tracking along the western ridge of the Barossa to Historic Seppeltsfield. Here you will see vineyards contouring the rolling hills, palm tree studded roads. From there you will fly over Maggie Beer’s farm and the famous Penfold’s Winery before veering along the eastern side of Nuriootpa, around the Wolf Blass winery, and then the view of large limestone quarry near the town of Angaston. A little further on you will get a bird’s eye view of one of the most beautiful horse racing studs in south Australia. As you descend into the valley towards Tanunda, your pilot will point out some of the historic buildings and settlements like Chateau Tanunda and Bethany. Beyond Tanunda is home of Jacobs Creek. From there we take you to the southern end of the Barossa, past Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall (the Barossa reservoir) before finally returning to the Hoffnungsthal Valley.

Departing from the Adelaide CBD or joining in-region, your bus collects you from Stamford Plaza Hotel, 150 North Terrace, Adelaide at 9:30 am, or from Barossa Visitor Centre, 25 Murray Street, Tanunda at 10:50 am. We visit premium wineries and pay the tasting fees, so you get to try the best wines of the region. There is no set itinerary so each day is different. We know all the best wineries, trust your local guide to create the perfect day. Some of our favourite wineries include Rockford, Langmeil, Rusden, Torbreck, Tomfoolery, Two Hands, Elderton, Gibson - and many many more! ‘Adelaide Highlights with Wine Tasting and Coast’ is a full day tour featuring some of Adelaide's finest experiences. With several pick-up points around Adelaide CBD this small group day tour offers a wonderful balance of sightseeing and wine tasting and packs a punch as far as must do highlights when visiting Adelaide. City Tour, Mount Lofty Lookout, 2 hours to explore Township of Hahndorf, then off to McLaren Vale to enjoy wine tasting and more sightseeing. Wine tasting at the beautiful Kay Brothers Winery and the stunning Haselgrove Wines, photo opportunities and a scenic drive along the coastline with a 15 min stop in seaside suburb of Glenelg. You can choose to stay in Glenelg and watch the sunset, and catch the tram back to Adelaide at your convenience, or jump back on board and head back to Adelaide for drop off.

2 Hour Swim nearby Dolphin / Seal & Coastal Snorkeling Safari departs from Christmas Cove Marina, Penneshaw. Have the opportunity to swim nearby wild dolphins or seals and snorkel some of KI’s beautiful coastline.  It's a great wildlife watching tour! We provide wetsuits, mask, towels, snorkel, and fins. Arrive at Christmas Cove Marina in Penneshaw 30 minutes prior to departure. You will be fitted into the appropriately sized wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and flippers as well as be provided with a safety brief. Then jump on board our 28 seater vessel in search of the marine life that inhabits the stunning coastline. Seals often become very active which provides a unique snorkeling experience. We are the only operator in South Australia that provides the opportunity to swim nearby the Long-Nosed Seals. Also, have the opportunity to swim alongside dolphins in the wild. The guide will also provide an informative commentary along the way.

The Kayak Tour explores the Dolphin Sanctuary and Ships Graveyard Maritime Heritage Trail, just 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. Your Tasting in the Dark Experience will begin at the Hardys Tintara Cellar Door. You will meet your host at the Cellar Door where you will be guided to our Fortified Barrel Hall. This room is on the bottom level of the original winery, and maintains a constant temperature of 18 degrees Celsius, so make sure to bring a jacket in the colder months. Your host will then guide you through the wine tasting process and describe what role each of the senses play during the process. With the lights turned down, blindfolds on, and sipping from black wine glasses, you will discover what happens when you remove the sense of sight, and understand how it influences your wine tasting experience.
