Your host will then guide you through the wine tasting process and describe what role each of the senses play during the process. This is premium small-group wine touring at it's best! Our very small groups have a maximum of 6 guests and we regularly depart with less. We visit premium wineries and pay the tasting fees, so you get to try the best wines of the region. There is no set itinerary so each day is different. We know all the best wineries, trust your local guide to create the perfect day. Some of our favourite wineries include Rockford, Langmeil, Rusden, Torbreck, Tomfoolery, Two Hands, Elderton, Gibson - and many many more! Lunch is a special menu created by the chef, which will include a range of dishes for all to share. Enjoy a glass of local wine or beer as the perfect accompaniment to your seasonally inspired lunch. Please note: we do not visit mass-production wineries like Wolf Blass or Jacobs Creek to taste wine, nor breweries, gin distilleries, cheese shops, Maggie Beers, etc - This is a specialist wine tour, not a general sightseeing tour of the Barossa.

‘Adelaide Highlights with Wine Tasting and Coast’ is a full day tour featuring some of Adelaide's finest experiences. With several pick-up points around Adelaide CBD this small group day tour offers a wonderful balance of sightseeing and wine tasting and packs a punch as far as must do highlights when visiting Adelaide. City Tour, Mount Lofty Lookout, 2 hours to explore Township of Hahndorf, then off to McLaren Vale to enjoy wine tasting and more sightseeing. Wine tasting at the beautiful Chapel Hill wines and the stunning Haselgrove Wines, photo opportunities and a scenic drive along the coastline with a 15 min stop in seaside suburb of Glenelg. You can choose to stay in Glenelg and watch the sunset, and catch the tram back to Adelaide at your convenience, or jump back on board and head back to Adelaide for drop off.

The Kayak Tour explores the Dolphin Sanctuary and Ships Graveyard Maritime Heritage Trail, just 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. Here you find one of Adelaide's "secret spots", it is an area of surprising beauty. The sheltered mangrove lined creeks are home to a fascinating array of marine life, birds and the Port River Dolphins. The Ship's Graveyard is a unique feature of the area with over 20 "wrecks" to view. All this makes for a sensational adventure and kayaking is the most environmentally sensitive way to explore and interact with the dolphins. Small-groups of no more than 8 people make this a personal experience. Perfect for the whole family, enjoy an up close look at the native wildlife and wrecked ships as your guide tells you tales of this mysterious area.

Cruise 16km to the prime growing oyster region, completely surrounded by crystal clear waters. Once we arrive you'll instantly discover the beauty & vastness of the world famous, Coffin Bay oyster farms. Now it's your opportunity to become fully immersed in the oyster farm & discover all of its beauty up close. After the wading experience we retreat to the boat to indulge in freshly shucked oysters that can be accompanied by a variety of local beverages available to purchase. While you sit back & relax, a veteran oyster farmer, will share with you the history of oyster farming including an update on the Angasi Reef Restoration Project in Coffin Bay. A project aims to rebuild angasi oyster reefs, using pacific oyster shells. Every shell from, every oyster you consume on the tour will be donated to the restoration efforts & will contribute to bringing these reefs back to life...! We then cruise to Brother's Island to sightsee view herds of seals in their natural habitat.

All equipment is provided, with tours suitable for adults and children over 10+ (Children 10-15 must be with a parent/adult in a double kayak and must be able to paddle) Participants don’t need any prior kayaking experience, and we travel at a comfortable pace to accommodate reasonable fitness levels. This is a unique and special destination and an absolute must do when visiting Adelaide. Please note departure times are varied due to tide times and it is essential that you arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time.

Your Tasting in the Dark Experience will begin at the Hardys Tintara Cellar Door. You will meet your host at the Cellar Door where you will be guided to our Fortified Barrel Hall. This room is on the bottom level of the original winery, and maintains a constant temperature of 18 degrees Celsius, so make sure to bring a jacket in the colder months. Your host will then guide you through the wine tasting process and describe what role each of the senses play during the process. With the lights turned down, blindfolds on, and sipping from black wine glasses, you will discover what happens when you remove the sense of sight, and understand how it influences your wine tasting experience. This tasting is about enhancing your wine knowledge and gaining a deeper understanding of your palate.
