After departing from our home base in the peaceful Hoffnungsthal Valley, it's time to relax and take in the gorgeous sights and surrounds as you enjoy the beautiful scenic helicopter flight northeast over Rowland Flat, home of Jacob’s Creek Winery, where some of Australia’s largest wine tanks are located. Spend some time marveling over the fact that these tanks hold up to 1.4 million litres of WINE before you get a stunning bird’s eye view of the southern end of the Barossa. Continuing towards Nuriootpa, your pilot will point out Maggie Beer’s farm and the famous Penfold’s Winery, before flying down the valley floor over Tanunda where you can see the stunning old buildings of Chateau Tanunda and many old churches.
