As you depart Kingscote, drive past the famous Silo Art which has become a fan favorite. An amazing photo opportunity! Next you travel to Kangaroo Island Brewery where a fantastic taste testing of their famous craft beers and ciders await you. Enjoy your transfer to Pennington Bay a wild and rocky coastline perfect for photos! Having visiting several different key locations and enjoy sampling local goods and products you head back to Penneshaw.

This is a Narrated Tour and is subject to change as sometimes we have requests to maybe go a longer way thru the Adelaide Hills weather permitting. Sometimes we may skip Mt Lofty. If you can't see it from the city we will waste are time going there, which may give us more time to visit another area along the way or spend more time in Hahndorf itself. Lifting off from the heli-pad in the Hoffnungsthal Valley, enjoy flying past Lyndoch before tracking along the western ridge of the Barossa to Historic Seppeltsfield. Here you will see vineyards contouring the rolling hills, palm tree studded roads. From there you will fly over Maggie Beer’s farm and the famous Penfold’s Winery before veering along the eastern side of Nuriootpa, around the Wolf Blass winery, and then the view of large limestone quarry near the town of Angaston. A little further on you will get a bird’s eye view of one of the most beautiful horse racing studs in south Australia. As you descend into the valley towards Tanunda, your pilot will point out some of the historic buildings and settlements like Chateau Tanunda and Bethany. Beyond Tanunda is home of Jacobs Creek. From there we take you to the southern end of the Barossa, past Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall (the Barossa reservoir) before finally returning to the Hoffnungsthal Valley.

‘Adelaide Highlights with Wine Tasting and Coast’ is a full day tour featuring some of Adelaide's finest experiences. With several pick-up points around Adelaide CBD this small group day tour offers a wonderful balance of sightseeing and wine tasting and packs a punch as far as must do highlights when visiting Adelaide. City Tour, Mount Lofty Lookout, 2 hours to explore Township of Hahndorf, then off to McLaren Vale to enjoy wine tasting and more sightseeing. Wine tasting at the beautiful Kay Brothers Winery and the stunning Haselgrove Wines, photo opportunities and a scenic drive along the coastline with a 15 min stop in seaside suburb of Glenelg. You can choose to stay in Glenelg and watch the sunset, and catch the tram back to Adelaide at your convenience, or jump back on board and head back to Adelaide for drop off.

2 Hour Swim nearby Dolphin / Seal & Coastal Snorkeling Safari departs from Christmas Cove Marina, Penneshaw. Have the opportunity to swim nearby wild dolphins or seals and snorkel some of KI’s beautiful coastline.  It's a great wildlife watching tour! We provide wetsuits, mask, towels, snorkel, and fins. Arrive at Christmas Cove Marina in Penneshaw 30 minutes prior to departure. You will be fitted into the appropriately sized wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and flippers as well as be provided with a safety brief. Then jump on board our 28 seater vessel in search of the marine life that inhabits the stunning coastline. Seals often become very active which provides a unique snorkeling experience. We are the only operator in South Australia that provides the opportunity to swim nearby the Long-Nosed Seals. Also, have the opportunity to swim alongside dolphins in the wild. The guide will also provide an informative commentary along the way.

The Kayak Tour explores the Dolphin Sanctuary and Ships Graveyard Maritime Heritage Trail, just 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD.
