Along the way, I will also be pointing you towards other things to explore for the rest of your stay! This is a relaxed, friendly walking tour. Rather than a history lecture, it’s more like a walk with a friend with fun facts, local stories, and excellent food recommendations to share! It's an old family winery dating back to 1850, where history meets modernity! The immersive cellar experience is unique in France! The tasting begins at the cellar. This is followed by the screening of an explanatory video on the development of Alsace wines (suitable for children). Then we will visit the cellar, its wooden barrels more than 100 years old and you will discover our family history through a scenographic space with immersive video 180° projected on barrels: unique in France. Maison ZEYSSOLFF is one of the few wineries in Alsace with some twenty century-old oak foudres, each with a capacity of 10,000L, still in use for the vinification of its wines. Its greatest curiosity is the ZEYSSOLFF barrel, made in 1897 for the Paris Universal Exhibition (1900). This barrel is still in use today. The immersive experience, with projections on the barrels and sound work, is unique in France. Children are welcome on the tour, which is suitable for all ages. Our estate is farmed organically.
