Coconut Beach

Although this place has the potential to be perfect with a great atmosphere, the owners unfortunately do not seem to care about it. There is garbage scattered everywhere, including near the stairs and around the tents. While on the beach, I had a close call with a large piece of broken glass, and the linens and pillows in the tents were dirty even after they were supposedly changed. The male owner showed no interest and was not friendly; it seemed like he was only interested in making money. Thankfully, the wife was more pleasant. When I asked them twice to show me which rooms or tents were available, they simply told me to go down and check for myself. They were too lazy to go down the stairs and show me personally, which was disappointing. I didn't want to invade someone else's tent without permission.

The bungalows were absolutely perfect. The location was absolutely amazing, although it's important to keep in mind that it's a remote island, so the services may not be top-notch. I'm so grateful that I booked a private room with a fan, otherwise, I would have been miserable. The bathrooms were not the best, maybe around a two-star rating, and the food was decent, maybe around three stars, but the incredible location more than made up for any shortcomings. It's approximately 4.2 km (or 2.5 miles for those who prefer the imperial system) away from the main town, Long Set. They only accept cash for payment. They offer moped rentals, hammocks for relaxation, mesmerizing fire dancing performances at night, a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, and consistently excellent service. It was truly a delightful experience.

We had a fantastic three-night stay at the hostel! We absolutely adored it there. They offered a wide range of free activities such as lantern-making and snorkeling. The owners were incredibly friendly and always available to assist with anything you needed. While it may not be the most centrally located hostel, that's what adds to its authenticity. It allows you to have a peaceful few days by the sea. If you're seeking a vacation with pristine white sand, crystal-clear water, and uncrowded beaches, this is the perfect destination for you!

In general, everything is fantastic - the view is stunning, the beach is beautiful, the water is clean, the staff is friendly, and the price is affordable. However, there is a wood workshop located right in the middle of the camp, which caused the entire hotel to be awakened at 8 a.m. instead of the usual noise of electric saws. Additionally, forget about taking a nap in a hammock during the day.

It's a beautiful place with friendly and helpful staff. The beach is stunning with crystal-clear water. There is some litter at the far end of the beach that has washed up from the mainland. The food is good. It's a bit secluded, so you'll need to rent a motorbike for 10 dollars, but it comes with a full tank of fuel. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to stay an extra night.
