Section 9 of the French Broad river starts approximately 45 minutes away from Asheville near Marshall, North Carolina and runs through the Pisgah National Forest. Asheville is known for Beer and Nature! We combine the two. This is a fun trip to bar hop by raft. We will casually float down river and stop 3 times some local bars and breweries. I will have a cooler with ice and you are welcome to bring your own beverages along. This tour follows along the river and requires climbing up some muddy river banks and descending stairs. We will relax and enjoy cold beverages and river views. We will stop at The Wedge Brewery at the Foundation and grab some food from the food truck. We will end at New Belgium Brewery. I recommend parking at Hominy Creek River Park and then taking a ride share to retrieve your vehicle when you are safe to drive. You can leave your vehicle overnight there if you need to. We will meet you by the stairs to the river. Other things to note: Must be comfortable with water. Kids at least 15 can accompany their parents but obviously will not be able to consume alcohol. This trip leaves from our beautiful three acre outpost located right across the French Broad River from the outskirts of the historic Biltmore property. We believe that we have crafted the perfect length float, typically between two and three hours, to relax, soak up some sun, and have a great time with friends and family. We keep all of our trips small so that every trip feels private and special. After your tube, we bring you back to our outpost where you can have a cold drink at our bar or enjoy live music and games on the weekend.

The French Broad river spans 218 miles from Rosman, North Carolina through Asheville, and toward the state of Tennessee. Section 9 of the French Broad river starts approximately 45 minutes away from Asheville near Marshall, North Carolina and runs through the Pisgah National Forest. The majority of French Broad Section 9 flows through protected lands, and is beginner-friendly. Your guide will navigate you through approximately 5 miles of Section 9, where you will raft through class II and class III difficulty levels, and you may briefly encounter class IV drops depending on the time of year, and the amount of rainfall. Asheville is known for Beer and Nature! We combine the two. This is a fun trip to bar hop by raft. We will casually float down river and stop 3 times some local bars and breweries. I will have a cooler with ice and you are welcome to bring your own beverages along. This tour follows along the river and requires climbing up some muddy river banks and descending stairs. We will relax and enjoy cold beverages and river views. We will stop at The Wedge Brewery at the Foundation and grab some food from the food truck. We will end at New Belgium Brewery. I recommend parking at Hominy Creek River Park and then taking a ride share to retrieve your vehicle when you are safe to drive. You can leave your vehicle overnight there if you need to. The French Broad river spans 218 miles from Rosman, North Carolina through Asheville, and toward the state of Tennessee. Section 9 of the French Broad river starts approximately 45 minutes away from Asheville near Marshall, North Carolina and runs through the Pisgah National Forest. The majority of French Broad Section 9 flows through protected lands, and is beginner-friendly. Your guide will navigate you through approximately 5 miles of Section 9, where you will raft through class II and class III difficulty levels, and you may briefly encounter class IV drops depending on the time of year, and the amount of rainfall. The Carolina Runner is a custom-built 40-foot craft that includes a bar, blue tooth sound system, LED party lights, a loading ramp for easy shore access to Masonboro Island, complete modern toilet facilities, and many other amenities for groups up to 40.

Enjoy a relaxing ride on the river on our comfortable 46' catamaran as you learn more about Wilmington, NC from our friendly captain and crew. Gain a new perspective on our history and ecology as we share fun facts and historical anecdotes as we cruise along the Cape Fear River. We promise that no two cruises are alike! Asheville is known for Beer and Nature! We combine the two. This is a fun trip to bar hop by raft. We will casually float down river and stop 3 times some local bars and breweries. I will have a cooler with ice and you are welcome to bring your own beverages along. This tour follows along the river and requires climbing up some muddy river banks and descending stairs. We will relax and enjoy cold beverages and river views. We will stop at The Wedge Brewery at the Foundation and grab some food from the food truck. We will end at New Belgium Brewery. I recommend parking at Hominy Creek River Park and then taking a ride share to retrieve your vehicle when you are safe to drive. You can leave your vehicle overnight there if you need to. We will meet you by the stairs to the river. Other things to note: Must be comfortable with water. Kids at least 15 can accompany their parents but obviously will not be able to consume alcohol. Gratuity for the guide is appreciated.

We know what it's like to visit a new place (or return to an already-visited place). You want to see and experience as much as you can! We understand that. Our main goal with the Tour de Wilmington is to show you as much of Wilmington as possible. The areas that we travel through or have a brief stop in, are areas that you may not have discovered otherwise! Some of these are off the beaten path, some up-and-coming, but all are sure to impress. Our tours are focused on mainly riding the e-bikes, showing you around the areas. Getting on and off e-bikes can be challenging for some, and for this reason, we specifically do not require attendees to dismount and re-mount their e-bikes several times throughout the tour (aka, a talking tour). We will have brief stops at a few places, but for the most part, you will get to really enjoy a beautiful e-bike ride!
