A super way to find out more about Errichel's ethically-reared animals and its 'slow food' ethos, you will meet and feed Large Black Pigs, Rare-breed Sheep (bottle-feed lambs in season), Shetland Cattle, Highland Ponies, an assortment of Chickens, and many ducks! The tour is totally unique in our area, and takes place on our beautifully scenic Hill-farm near the picturesque town of Aberfeldy. Also onsite are our Deli, where you can purchase farm produce, foodie treats, and ice creams, and our Bistro, where you can enjoy brunch, lunch, or just coffee and cake. Our Farm Tour & Feed Round takes place at 10am on Fridays and Saturdays and lasts about an hour. Booking by 4pm the day before your tour is required. Join Managing Partner Becky as she feeds Errichel’s animal residents. A super way to find out more about Errichel's ethically-reared animals and its 'slow food' ethos, you will meet and feed Large Black Pigs, Rare-breed Sheep (bottle-feed lambs in season), Shetland Cattle, Highland Ponies, an assortment of Chickens, and many ducks! The tour is totally unique in our area, and takes place on our beautifully scenic Hill-farm near the picturesque town of Aberfeldy. Also onsite are our Deli, where you can purchase farm produce, foodie treats, and ice creams, and our Bistro, where you can enjoy brunch, lunch, or just coffee and cake. Our Farm Tour & Feed Round takes place at 10am on Fridays and Saturdays and lasts about an hour. Booking by 4pm the day before your tour is required. There is a maximum of eight spaces available, so book now to avoid disappointment.
Go rafting on a half-day adventure down the River Tay in Scotland. Groups are of various sizes and ages (children aged over 8 years) from Aberfeldy to Grandtully in this perfect introductory river. A thrilling white water rafting experience, groups are accompanied by experienced guides. You can expect adventure, excitement and guaranteed fun! River Tay rafting trips are available mornings and afternoons throughout the year except Mondays and Tuesdays (these are dedicated fishing days). We provide all equipment (wetsuit, lifejacket, helmet, paddle) and transport If trips do not reach minimum numbers you will be offered a reschedule.
Just three miles from the birth place of founder John Dewar, the Aberfeldy Distillery is the only distillery built by the Dewar family. Your experience includes a distillery tour and access to the atmospheric warehouse where you can hear about the angels’ share and how the whisky is double aged for a richer smoother flavour. Also included is the heritage centre offering a unique insight into founders; John Dewar and his sons Tommy and John Alexander. You will end the tour in one of our tasting rooms to enjoy a comparative tasting of our Dewar's Blended Scotch and our Aberfeldy Single Malt.
