This isn’t just a sightseeing trip — it’s a carefully curated journey through the very soul of the Scottish Highlands, blending history, nature, whisky, and wildlife into one unforgettable day. You’ll stand at the Millionaire’s View and understand why the Highlands take your breath away, wander cobbled streets that have barely changed in centuries, and come face to face with iconic Highland cows on a working farm — not a tourist attraction. At the heart of the day is Dunrobin Castle, one of Scotland’s most spectacular yet lesser-known treasures. With formal gardens inspired by Versailles and a history stretching back through the powerful Clan Sutherland, it rivals anything Europe has to offer — without the crowds. The tour also weaves in authentic Highland hospitality, from a whisky bar inside a 15th-century castle to a peaceful finale at Loch Fleet, where seals bask undisturbed on the sandbanks. This is the Highlands as they were meant to be experienced — wild, grand, and personal.
This semi-private adventure is the perfect way to experience the legends and landscapes of Loch Ness without the crowds of a big coach tour. Travelling in a small group means a more relaxed pace, personal attention from your guide, and the flexibility to truly take in the beauty of the Highlands. Stroll through the village of Fort Augustus with time to watch the boats pass through the Caledonian Canal and enjoy a leisurely lunch at a café of your choice. You’ll also take in the Falls of Foyers and the pebble beach at Dores, where you might even encounter the local "Monster Hunter"! With stories, scenery, and a few surprises along the way, this tour is an unforgettable journey into the heart of Loch Ness.

Collecting you from the Port gate we travel along the shore of the Cromarty Firth and cross the Cromarty bridge to the Black Isle and make our way to Beauly Priory , the 13th century Monastery built for an order of Valliscaulian monks from Dijon in France and destroyed by Cromwells forces in the 16th Century. We will then make a brief stop to see some Highland Cattle ( see photo ) before we carry on over Culnakirk Hill to Drumnadrochit and visit Urquhart Castle which sits on a promontory jutting out in to Loch Ness , the views of the Loch are fantastic from here and it was near here where St Columba is reputed to have seen the Loch Ness Monster. We then head towards Inverness and as we come in to Inverness we pass the Hill of the Fairies. We stop to see the Cathedral and The Old High Church and we pass Inverness Castle and the statue of Flora Macdonald before we travel out to Clava Cairns and have lunch at Cawdor Castle before concluding our tour at Culloden Battlefield.

You’ll explore the dramatic ruins of Urquhart Castle—with entrance included—and enjoy stunning views across the loch where Nessie is said to dwell.
What a lovely way to see the Scottish Countryside as you meander through beautiful Highland villages and take in the amazing scenery en-route to your stops in Inverness, Dochgarroch, Urquhart Castle, Drumnadrochit and Beauly before returning to your starting point.
