The hot springs there have been used as a spa since the 2nd Century B.C.E. and people came to soothe their ailments with many of them retiring or dying here. Some of the highlights; the large necropolis is filled with sarcophagi, the main street with the gates and latrines, cathedral, the theatre and St. Philips tomb. It is known as the largest barrage and it is one of the rare barrages where boat trips are allowed. Green Canyon tour starts with picking up the guests from their hotels. Our journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. we will arrive at the Oymapınar barrage by watching the excellent views of the Taurus mountains and the village houses on the way.
