Tea / Coffee/ Fruit Juice / Mineral Water We will enter the Addo Park at 08h30. The first few hours are usually good to see antelope, zebra, and lion. The Addo Elephant National Park is the 3rd largest national park in South Africa and is home to over 600 elephants, lion, buffalo, rhino, antelope, zebra and much much more. Our experienced and enthusiastic Guide will do his best to locate as much of the game available in the area during your drive. As the game drive covers all time periods of the day you should have the opportunity to see most game species. The first few hours we usually have good sightings of antelope, zebra and lion. We will stop for a Tea/Coffee break at around 10h30. Elephants and buffalo are usually spotted a little later around the waterholes. At lunch time when we serve a delicious South African “braai” with beer, white wine, juice and mineral water. (Delicious vegetarian option available) After lunch we continue with the safari. We will be hiking up Lions Head, Cape Town's most Instragram'able hike. We plan to either catch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean or sunrise from the Hottentots Holland mountains. We enjoy some amazing photo opportunities before our descent. During a sunset hike, we descend in the dark using our flashlights (provided). During a sunrise hike, we may hike the first part in the dark using our flashlights (provided). While the hike is regarded as easier than Table Mountain, it still involves steep rocky and narrow terrain at certain points from about half up way and a section where the use of steel handles and chains need to be used to get up 2 pitches of about 3 meters each (only up and not down). The Addo Elephant National Park is the 3rd largest national park in South Africa and is home to over 600 elephants, lion, buffalo, rhino, antelope, zebra and much much more. Our experienced and enthusiastic Guide will do his best to locate as much of the game available in the area during your drive. As the game drive covers all time periods of the day you should have the opportunity to see most game species. The first few hours we usually have good sightings of antelope, zebra and lion. We will stop for a Tea/Coffee break at around 10h30. Elephants and buffalo are usually spotted a little later around the waterholes. At lunch time when we serve a delicious South African “braai” with beer, white wine, juice and mineral water. (Delicious vegetarian option available) After lunch we continue with the safari. We will be hiking up Lions Head, Cape Town's most Instragram'able hike. We plan to either catch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean or sunrise from the Hottentots Holland mountains. We enjoy some amazing photo opportunities before our descent. During a sunset hike, we descend in the dark using our flashlights (provided). During a sunrise hike, we may hike the first part in the dark using our flashlights (provided). While the hike is regarded as easier than Table Mountain, it still involves steep rocky and narrow terrain at certain points from about half up way and a section where the use of steel handles and chains need to be used to get up 2 pitches of about 3 meters each (only up and not down). Quite adventurous indeed. Tea / Coffee/ Fruit Juice / Mineral Water We will enter the Addo Park at 08h30. The first few hours are usually good to see antelope, zebra, and lion. At around 11h00 we will have a delicious picnic brunch. Usually we have good sightings of elephant herds and buffalo after 11h00 nearer the waterholes. The Addo Elephant National Park is the 3rd largest national park in South Africa and is home to over 600 elephants, lion, buffalo, rhino, antelope, zebra and much much more. Our experienced and enthusiastic Guide will do his best to locate as much of the game available in the area during your drive. As the game drive covers all time periods of the day you should have the opportunity to see most game species. The first few hours we usually have good sightings of antelope, zebra and lion. We will stop for a Tea/Coffee break at around 10h30. Elephants and buffalo are usually spotted a little later around the waterholes. At lunch time when we serve a delicious South African “braai” with beer, white wine, juice and mineral water. (Delicious vegetarian option available) After lunch we continue with the safari. We will leave the park at 17h00 and return to your place of accommodation. Refreshments will be served throughout the drive.
