The walk to the beach through the reserve is fairly easy. The beach itself is stunning and offers plenty of space for picnicking. There is limited parking available and a playground for children. Additionally, there are toilets that remain open in the evening. However, the water is not suitable for swimming and there are numerous shells scattered about. As you enter the reserve, it branches off into the Manukau Coastal Walkway, which provides walking and hiking trails.
The beach is small, but it is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. It is mostly covered in shells, so you have to be a bit careful when walking over the rocks. The views of the sea are absolutely surreal. This little beach is easily accessible via a sidewalk from the Waikowhai Walkway, just after crossing the entrance of Manukau Domain. Although it doesn't have an official name, it is referred to as "Beach" in the directions. There is street parking available at the entrance of Manukau Domain, but it is time-bound on school days. Unfortunately, there are no public restrooms available.
Bu plaj hem aile eğlencesi hem de yalnız dinlenmek için harika bir yerdir. Yüzmeye, koşuya gidebilirsiniz; çok sayıda yemek seçeneği ve toplu taşıma olanağı mevcuttur.
Some of the reviews here are quite amusing. Rating a beach with one star just because it lacks toilets or has limited parking? Really? Maybe you should stick to the mall and stop disrespecting nature. Yes, it's a steep hike, parking is scarce, and there are no amenities. But that's precisely what makes it such a delightful spot (along with the breathtaking views, peace, and serenity).
