The St. Regis at Vommuli Island is an extraordinary destination for your dream vacation. The beds are super comfortable, and the views from all villas are breathtaking, no matter where you stay. Each restaurant offers a unique and incredibly delicious dining experience. The snorkeling and kayaking around the island are also fantastic.
However, the most important factor that makes the stay perfect is THE PEOPLE. I don't even know where to begin. Thanks to all the amazing, warm, and caring staff who make your stay fabulous and treat you with the kindest hearts.
A huge special thanks to LINA, our butler, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt constantly relaxed and happy. Lina made sure we had everything we needed, even in the last few hours of our stay. THANK YOU, LINA, you are amazing. To NASSER, our villa attendant, for keeping our villa tidy and always adding a touch of care. To ZAM, for the fantastic bespoke gym classes—people should definitely enroll in at least a 3-day program (if not more) with Zam. She was fantastic and extremely supportive during the training.
Everyone else at the resort was brilliant, including ANISA and TINO at the Alba restaurant. The lovely ladies at the spa provided excellent massages and services. Big thanks to RAVENN at the spa for always welcoming us with a warm smile.
This resort is beautiful and offers so many amazing and diverse experiences that I could talk about endlessly, but it is the staff who truly make everything perfect. Well done, St. Regis, for having such an amazing group of people working at your resort. Your staff are a treasure.
There is no doubt that we will return for another Maldivian experience at the St. Regis.

We had a fantastic family trip. With our kids, we found this resort to be very family-friendly. This was our first visit to the Maldives, and we chose St. Regis based on reviews praising its excellent snorkeling and service.
The snorkeling experience was by far the best we've had—better than Bora Bora, Bali, Thailand, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. The service exceeded my expectations in every way.
We booked five nights in an Overwater 1-Bedroom Suite (4-person capacity) instead of an Overwater Villa (3-person capacity). The suite featured a king bed and a day bed.
Upon arrival, we were taken to separate private vehicles and provided with cold towels and WIFI codes. A 10-minute ride brought us to the new 5-story seaport terminal, which houses lounges for all resorts in the Maldives. Butler Shabin greeted us and escorted us to a lounge where we waited for 90 minutes until our seaplane was ready.
Shabin shared a custom welcome video from our butler, Akram, which we greatly appreciated. He also offered us a menu with light sandwiches, snacks, and beverages.
The flight to the resort took 45 minutes.
We received a warm welcome from a dozen staff members and were given complimentary coconuts. Akram introduced himself, and I didn’t realize at the time how integral he would be to the success of our trip. Our room was ready immediately, and we were taken there by cart.
Akram gave us a tour of our room, which included a fruit and chocolate arrangement. Breakfast was complimentary as an Ambassador benefit, which I estimated to be a $200 daily value.
The restaurants met the brand's standards. While there were no ultra-extraordinary moments, there were also no major disappointments. We were satisfied and appreciative.
The staff was exceptionally friendly. Shabin was helpful at the arrival lounge, and Akram went above and beyond all expectations. When our full-face snorkel broke while we were in the water off our back deck, I texted him, and we had options within 10 minutes. He checked on our
