Meeting in Galway, a small group of no more than 8 will make their way via our private transportation to the village of Doolin. From there you will walk with our local guide to the Cliffs of Moher. Departing from Galway at 10:00 AM, you begin your fully guided tour of Connemara & Cong at our first photo stop near the scenic Inagh Valley. We depart Galway at 10:00 and begin your tour by exploring the Burren region. The first stop is Dunguaire Castle and Kinvara, where we take approximately 15 minutes to view the outside of the castle. Continuing on to Poulnabrone Dolmen, one of the most ancient religious sites in Ireland at 5800 years old, we make another short stop of approximately 10-15 minutes. We then stop in the quaint fishing village of Doolin to enjoy some lunch for around 45-50 minutes (lunch is NOT included in the ticket cost). After that, we arrive at the Cliffs of Moher where we have a stop of 2 hours of free time. This is the highlight of the day with ample time to walk the cliff edge and enjoy one of the most incredible natural sites in the world! Once finished, we return to Galway via the Coast Road with spectacular views over the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, returning to Galway city centre at 18:15.

Ireland has perhaps, more than its fair share of ghost stories and few are more persistent than the grim tale of Connemara's haunted Bog Road. Take this scary tour to see if the tales are real? The Bog Road was originally the main road to Galway before the founding of Clifden. A guesthouse on the road, was the scene of many gruesome murders, which has given rise to many tales, mostly tall… As one version of the story goes, there was a hostelry here called the Halfway House. Back in the 1790s, it was run by a brother and sister who made a business of welcoming solo travellers and then murdering them, (at the stroke of midnight…naturally) and disposing their bodies in the surrounding bog lakes and pocketing their belongings. It is believed to be ghosts of these hapless victims - whose bodies the ghoulish siblings fed to the windswept bog land - which give this lonely stretch of road its spectral reputation - the tale of the Red-Haired Girl at the Inn is a folklore classic….

In the early dawn, set out to track the Wild Red Deer with your guide in its natural habitat of scenic mountains, bogs, heaths, grasslands and woodlands in Connemara. Back in the 1790s, it was run by a brother and sister who made a business of welcoming solo travellers and then murdering them, (at the stroke of midnight…naturally) and disposing their bodies in the surrounding bog lakes and pocketing their belongings. It is believed to be ghosts of these hapless victims - whose bodies the ghoulish siblings fed to the windswept bog land - which give this lonely stretch of road its spectral reputation - the tale of the Red-Haired Girl at the Inn is a folklore classic….

Ireland has perhaps, more than its fair share of ghost stories and few are more persistent than the grim tale of Connemara's haunted Bog Road. Take this scary tour to see if the tales are real? The Bog Road was originally the main road to Galway before the founding of Clifden. A guesthouse on the road, was the scene of many gruesome murders, which has given rise to many tales, mostly tall… As one version of the story goes, there was a hostelry here called the Halfway House. Back in the 1790s, it was run by a brother and sister who made a business of welcoming solo travellers and then murdering them, (at the stroke of midnight…naturally) and disposing their bodies in the surrounding bog lakes and pocketing their belongings. It is believed to be ghosts of these hapless victims - whose bodies the ghoulish siblings fed to the windswept bog land - which give this lonely stretch of road its spectral reputation - the tale of the Red-Haired Girl at the Inn is a folklore classic….

In the early dawn, set out to track the Wild Red Deer with your guide in its natural habitat of scenic mountains, bogs, heaths, grasslands and woodlands in Connemara. You will attempt to catch sighting of this majestic wild animal in its natural habitat. A spectacular way to capture the Connemara landscape on camera too! The most exciting time of year for deer watching is early to mid-October when the red deer start their courting actions, during the short period of time known as the ‘rut’. Hormonally charged males put on an impressive show as they fight to build their harem of females. You might hear them barking or clashing antlers amongst the trees. This experience includes a walk in the Connemara National Park to view the deer there and can also include following your guide by car to drive through this wilderness area tracking the deer.
