I’m inviting you to spend a really sensational day. Probably one of the most beautiful you'll have in Provence. I'll take you to one of my favorite spots in Gorges du Verdon where I go with my family and friends. The best way to explore this unic place is to have a boat ride in the canyon, the biggest in all Europe. You'll drive your little private electric boat having a picnic with some local wines. You can jump to the water or just unwind admiring the nature (2 hours easy drive, very calm water). Then we'll stop on few lavender fields off the beaten path. If you have a chance, you'll be the only one strolling there and taking pictures. Their beauty is really indescribable, even after the blooming period! The next stop is the perched UNESCO village Sainte-Croix with its incredible view of the Sainte Croix lake. Free time for strolling or beach time by the lake. *In case of bad weather, instead of the boat, I'll drive you to the charming Moustiers-Sainte-Marie village.

Hop into a vintage sidecar and let’s take off for a 2-hour ride through the landscapes that once inspired Cézanne — and that might just steal your heart too. We’ll leave Aix-en-Provence and follow the famous Cézanne Road, the only one in France listed as a historical monument. We will leave Aix-en-Provence at 4pm so we can catch the nice sunset when we get to Valensole plateau. The trip to get there is around 45 minutes. You will be surrounded by fields of lavender, the famous Provençal scented plant, abound here. We will also stop in a lavender distillery along the way where you have the opportunity to buy products directly from the producers; and we will leave you some free time in the village of Valensole. The best time for lovers of typical Provençal landscapes to visit is middle of June to end of July, when Valensole plateau is awash with beautiful blue lavender in bloom. It's a sight – and scent – to behold!

Cooking classes start at 9 a.m. with an appointment at the Cuisine Centr'Halles located inside the Les Halles d'Avignon market. We start with a visit to the Market to talk about local products, taste and especially create our menu together. We'll choose our ingredients and craft our menu, then head back to the kitchen for our class and cook our lunch. Lunch is included and consists of the menu we have prepared, water, wine and coffee. The full event ends at 1:30 p.m. Cooking demonstrations are a fun and light alternative to cooking classes. These begin at 9 a.m. with a meeting inside the market at the Cuisine Centr'Halles. We start with a market visit and tastings at some of my favorite vendors. We then return to the kitchen to prepare my tapenade recipes and some other daily preparations.
