The beach at Ilha Grande is absolutely amazing. You can reach this spot on the island either by walking or by taking a boat. The walking path is always flat and easy, but it can take up to 3 hours from Abraão. Most people choose to walk. There aren't any places to eat or buy water, and there's no shade from the sun. You can bring your own supplies, but camping and lighting fires are not allowed. On the way to the Dois Rios beach, there is a small village where some locals live, but none of the houses are available for rent or overnight stays. So, if you plan on staying longer at the beach, be cautious about going down that path at night. You will have to walk back to Abraão in total darkness, which can be tiring and risky. The local villagers are not allowed to assist or provide any infrastructure in case of emergencies. I recommend enjoying the daylight and leaving before sunset or within a 3-hour timeframe that allows for a safe walk back to the main district of the island. Some people may be lucky enough to find accommodations at Lopes Mendes beach or Pouso beach, but it might be difficult to find a last-minute option, as there may not be a direct walking trail to get there. It's also not reliable to rely on cell phone reception, as the connection can be weak.
Abrao'dan Dosi Rios'a doğru yürüyüş yaptım.
