We've selected fun targets to shoot and we will show you a quick demonstration of how to hold and fire a paintball gun, how to use the safety, and how to load the paintballs. The instructor will be close by if you have any questions. If you would like additional paintballs you can purchase more at the range. This is not a paintball arena, you will not be shooting a people but rather at targets which will be set up for you. This is an easy activity that people of all ages can enjoy.

Over the years and miles I've cultivated an awareness of landscape, ecological systems, and local culture that when contextualized by the trail becomes a narrative experience I'm eager to share. I landed in Joshua Tree after dropping out of college in 2001. Back then you arrived by chance or a friend of a friend said you had to check out the rocks, feel the energy, and camp under the stars. I fell in with the gathering characters, an assortment of dirtbag climbers, avant artists, practical new age visionaries, and entrepreneurs...an amalgam of identities that would go on to create the image of the High Desert that is so coveted today. I am legally permitted to guide within Joshua Tree National Park and happy to host you. I know my stuff and I want you to know it too.

Archery in itself is a fun sport and lots of people do it as a hobby. We have a large property here in Joshua Tree where you will have plenty of space to shoot arrows at very far distances if you'd like too. The archery range spans out to 100 feet. Hitting the targets is a bit tough at 100 feet but we recommend that you try just for fun. It's exciting hitting the target at a farther distance. You'll notice your accuracy will improve quickly and in 20 minutes or so and you will become a good archer before you know it. Doing archery with friends, companions, or family is a great experience to do while in Joshua Tree or Palm Springs or if you are just passing by and want to stop by for an hour and shoot some arrows, it's a fun unique activity that you probably won't do anywhere else. We have targets set up for you when you come along with lots of arrows to shoot and bows. All you have to do is show up. Our archery range is located in a beautiful and relaxing scenic setting.
