Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city that day. Step into the shoes of a newly-minted detective, tasked by Commander Mahoney to solve a gripping case... murder on the streets of Plymouth. Throughout this crime-solving audio adventure, visit each of the 10 mapped locations. You'll have the option to explore the downtown area using the Walking Map or follow a Driving Map on the city's outskirts. Refer to ‘Meeting Point’ for the starting location. See images for route. Park or stop at each location, listen to the audio story, and put your detective skills to the test by gathering clues and piecing together the evidence. Finally, make your deductions and issue an arrest warrant. Your overall detective skills will be evaluated, culminating in a Case Performance Score to measure your sleuthing prowess. It's America's Founding story! Plimoth Patuxet Museums is a living history museum that tells the story of the historic events of America's founding story: the arrival of the Pilgrims in 1620; the Mayflower Compact (founding document U.S. Constitution), relationship with the Wampanoag Nation and the First Thanksgiving. There are 3 unique exhibit locations at Plimoth Patuxet Museums. You may visit exhibits on different days. o The Mayflower (U.S. National Register of Historic Places). o Plimoth Grist Mill, STEM and History program for all ages! o Plimoth Patuxet (main campus) includes the Henry Hornblower Visitor Center (orientation film in theater and Thanksgiving exhibit in the Gallery), Historic Patuxet Homesite, 17th-Century English Village, Craft Center (Plimoth artisans), Rare Breeds Animals. Guaranteed Sightings! 7 Seas Whale Watch is located in the heart of historic downtown Gloucester, MA and in one of the busiest parts of Gloucester harbor. As soon as you board the Privateer you will be surrounded by the sights and sounds of Gloucester’s working waterfront. You may see fishing boats unloading fish, lobster men baiting and setting their traps, and perhaps even some of our indigenous wildlife such as Harbor seals, Gray seals, and various species of birds. The tour begins with a harbor tour of Gloucester Harbor starting with Cape Pond Ice (which most of you have seen on Wicked Tuna and ends at the Dog Bar Breakwater. A typical trip is anywhere from 3-4 hours but may be extended if the whales move further out for feed. The Privateer IV was built for 300 passengers but we only book to 150 to ensure the comfort and safety of our passengers and is equipped with restrooms, and on-board food Galley and bar.
