Barefoot beach

I went to the beach in the late afternoon recently and had a good time. The area had just reopened after being damaged by a hurricane, so there were still signs of the damage in many places. The beach itself was nice, with a decent crowd but not too crowded, and I was able to find parking easily. However, getting to the beach was a bit challenging because there was only one entry point and it required a longer walk. Before leaving, we were lucky enough to spot a gopher tortoise, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it's a nice place that is still in the process of recovering.

We came to this beach with the intention of collecting shells, but unfortunately, there weren't a lot to be found. The beach itself is pleasant, although the shell count is quite low. I'm not sure if this is always the case, but we had more success at Bowman's and Lighthouse Point. On the bright side, the parking payment covers all the beaches on Sanibel and Captiva, and the phone app functions smoothly.

This beach is a hidden gem that isn't too crowded. Initially, we were a bit unsure of the route as we had to pass through a gated, affluent neighborhood to reach the beach. To park, you simply need to obtain a parking ticket from a pay meter, which costs only $10. The preserve closes at sunset, and the rangers will inform you about it. It's important to be cautious of golfer tortoises roaming around, ensuring they are not beneath your car or that you're driving too fast. There are plenty of beautiful shells to collect, including different types that we couldn't find on Sanibel Island. We spent numerous days enjoying this beach, and it has definitely become our favorite in the Naples/Ft. Myers area.

Indeed, this beach is undeniably one of the most stunning ones I have ever been to in America. The only cost you need to cover is a $10 parking fee, and in return, you get to relish a complete day of pristine white sand, crystal-clear water, and the most breathtaking sunset imaginable.

The beach is fantastic. Although there are only a few public restrooms, they can still be found. It's a hidden treasure that attracts many locals, and the entrance fee is $8.00 per vehicle. Don't forget to bring snacks and water, and be ready for a short walk to reach the restroom. They have rinse off stations and wheelchair access as well. Additionally, there is a food stand available on-site. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this place is a must-see. Just keep in mind that you'll need to pass through an HOA neighborhood to reach it.
