The trip is a 3 hour snorkeling/dolphin tour guided by Capt. Ashley Bishop, a former marine mammal trainer. Customers will get to experience dolphins up close and personal and explore parts of our area that are only accessible by boat. We typically spend half the trip exploring Shell Island, a 7 mile long uninhabited island. You can relax on the beach, look for sea shells, snorkel, or any number of activities. A rollercoaster type experience on water powered by a set of quad turbo charged twin diesel Yanmars delivering an adrenaline filled 700 horsepower experience like None other on the water. Our Shell Island Dolphin Tour is Panama City Beach’s only partially guided jet ski tour. After check-in and a quick safety briefing, you’ll head out for a fast-paced ride across the emerald waters of St. Andrews Bay. Weather permitting, we’ll enter the Gulf in search of dolphins and other wildlife like sea turtles, rays, and more. Next, we’ll stop on the bay side of Shell Island for a short break. Then, enjoy free ride time to explore—whether cruising, swimming, or relaxing on the beach. With about 15 minutes remaining, the group regathers and follows the guide back across the bay. Drivers must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license to operate a jet ski.

The Dolphin Watching & Sunset Sail is a 2 hour cruise aboard the Island Time Sailing Catamaran which departs from the Lagoon Pontoons Marina in Panama City Beach, FL. Our tours also go along many of Florida's state wildlife refuge that allow or passengers and up close look at many different species of birds and other native animals. Group Sizes: Each of our boats can accommodate up to 6 guests, per Coast Guard regulations. With two vessels available, we can host groups of up to 12 people. For larger groups, you’ll be split between both boats—but don’t worry, they always stay within talking distance of each other, ensuring everyone enjoys the same experience, including snorkeling at Shell Island and dolphin encounters together. Please note: some groups are subject to being split due to legal regulations. If split, the groups will never leave each other for the entirety of the trip.
