After a warm hello by your guides, you will be kitted out in your own wetsuit, buoyancy aid, and given your Paddleboard! You will need to bring a swimming costume to wear under our wetsuit and a towel. Once kitted up and ready to go, you will head to one of our Paddleboard sites in Newquay, carefully chosen to get the most out of some of the iconic sites of Newquay. Your experienced guide will cover the details of what to expect from the session, including the ‘know-how’ on how to manage the paddleboard to make for a fun session! Once you have practised the techniques and skills manoeuvring the board, your guide will take you on a tour of that area, giving you the opportunity to find hidden coves, navigate the coastline and enjoy all the fun that paddleboarding has to offer!

The adrenaline-filled adventure will take you from secluded beaches to smugglers’ coves and secret caves inhabited by stunning sea life. It is one of the coolest ways to explore the gorgeous Cornish coastline. Each coasteer experience runs for 2-3 hours and involves a mix of traversing along a stretch of intertidal zone, over rocks and through water, using a variety of demonstrated techniques including climbing, swimming and jumping into water. With challenging terrain and an exceptionally rugged coastline, coasteering in Newquay is both a challenge and a thrill that gives you the chance to get closer to the marine life and seascape.

An intensive day of surfing aimed at people wanting to learn lots of techniques in a short period of time. This includes 2 x 2 hour surf lessons, which can be taken  over 1 or 2 days as required . The lessons will be tailored to your individual level of surfing guaranteeing you get the most out of the session. For beginners on a first lesson your coach will introduce all of the skills and techniques necessary to surf with control and safety. By the end of the second lesson you should be catching waves unaided and standing consistently If you have already surfed, you can then use these sessions to build on more advanced techniques, including paddling, turning and catching unbroken green waves. The lessons will be tailored to your current ability We meet at Escape Surf School, in Newquay, which is located overlooking Towan beach on the premises of Belushis / St Christophers Inn.

We have a couple of great locations for our Paddleboard activity depended on the conditions of the day. We will either head to the infamous Newquay Beach, Towan or head to a more sheltered water area known as The Gannel. The location will be communicated to you on the day of the activity. You will still meet us at our base in Newquay for both locations.
