Holy Island is a special place and the best way to approach it is across the sands - walking barefoot if you want to get the most from your experience! The walk is one-way to the island, returning to the start point in my vehicle after we have spent some free time on Holy Island.

The tour takes you around some of the more interesting sights of the beautiful city of Newcastle. On it you will hear about the history of the city from the Iron Age to present day, and also about some of the city's more interesting characters. The tour is approximately 3.5km (2.2 miles), does include some steps, road crossing, and some uneven pavement. Please come prepared according to the weather forecast for that day.
