You will be able to touch the 1900 year old monument and gain an understanding of why such a prominent boundary was constructed by Hadrian's soldiers. As well as visiting Hadrian's wall you will see a milecastle, walk where the soldiers walked and see the scale of the vallum defence ditch to the south of the frontier. At 1.5 miles the walk is comfortable and enjoyable. We will view each location of archaeological importance to learn more about the Romans and the local tribes.

The tour takes you around some of the more interesting sights of the beautiful city of Newcastle.
