Avocat Waterfall is absolutely beautiful. An easy hike along the river, which makes it accessible to even the non hiker, practically anyone. When you get there, you experience a powerful waterfall that cause an updraft of wind which blows your mind. A beautiful pool for swimming, shallow and deep sides.Hiking up rivers, climbing through uncharted rain forests where your leader follows only his knowledge of the forests. While walking you will see, experience and learn of the natural history of this magnificent rainforest. The walk ends at the seventy-foot waterfall, where swimming in the small pool at the base of the falls is our objective. Relax while getting a natural massage as you sit at the foot of the falls.

We cruise the beautiful waters along the North West Coast and Gulf of Paria, listen to the sounds of the sea and typical local music (optional). We make stops for swimming at secluded bays only reachable by boat. Experience nature like never before with a rejuvenating mud bath at **L’eau Michel Mud Volcano** in South Trinidad. Upon arrival, vehicles must be parked a short distance from the site, followed by a scenic 25-minute walk through lush surroundings to reach the mud volcano. Unlike other mud volcanoes, the semi-solid, silky mud here flows gently from active vents and is perfectly safe for bathing. Despite the term “volcano,” the mud is cool, smooth, and dense enough to keep you afloat—a truly unique natural spa experience. For those wishing to rinse off, a scenic hike of approximately one hour leads to the pristine **L’eau Michel Beach**, with another hour to return—making it a rewarding two-hour round-trip adventure. The Caroni Swamp is an estuarine system comprising 5,611 hectares of mangrove forest and herbaceous marsh, interrupted by numerous channels, and brackish and saline lagoons, and with extensive intertidal mudflats on the seaward side. The central section of the acreage is designated as a wildlife sanctuary and is the home of one of Trinidad and Tobago’s national bird, the Scarlet Ibis. The Caroni Swamp is the major roosting place for the Scarlet Ibis(Eudocimus ruber) and is also the home of over 100 avian species.
