This is the one of the only tours that you get a full circle of the island of Trinidad. Heading to San Fernando out of Port of Spain, your circle island journey begins. You'll see the spectacular scenery of places such as the Gulf of Paria, Mayaro Beach, and Manzanilla.
Describe an ocean adventure, and we will create it for you! Snorkeling, freediving, spearfishing or just relaxing by the water. An authentic experience like no other! You are not just transported to the gorgeous gems of the island, you are guided by passionate, knowledgeable and certified divers and local seafood experts. You are taught about marine life while seeing it first-hand, then local seafood while watching a show of it's preparation and cooking on the beach, right in front of you! You can request your own seafood, location and activities, and even add a snorkel, freedive or spearfishing mini-class to your day! We can offer all transport from your stay, to the site and back. Comfortable 4x4 vehicles (trucks) with tray for all equipment and fresh water to rinse once complete.
Travel at a relaxed pace along the scenic north coast of Trinidad, making several stops for bathing and admiring the views, on this 8-hour guided tour from port of Spain. Soak up panoramic views of the ocean; stop for a photo opportunity at the Maracas Lookout, and swim in Las Cuevas and Maracas.
A scenic drive along the North Coast road offers the most spectacular panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. At the Maracas Lookout you can take photos and enjoy a local snack like pineapple chutney, at your own expense. Continue along the beautiful coast passing busy Maracas Bay en route to the more sheltered, calmer Las Cuevas Bay. Enjoy the quiet waters of this 2.2 km (1.36mi) long beach that is excellent for swimming. If time allows you can stop at Maracas for a taste of the famous Bake and Fish sandwich. Paradise found.
Hummingbird enthusiasts will be enchanted by Yerette in the scenic Maracas Valley, a private sanctuary named after the Amerindian word for hummingbird. Set among silk cotton trees, orchids, ferns, and shrubs, visitors enjoy close-up encounters with these captivating birds while savoring tea or a light meal. The couple’s photography and art gallery adds a cultural touch to the experience. The tour continues with an unforgettable journey into Caroni Swamp, one of the finest mangrove ecosystems in the Western Hemisphere. Explore winding waterways and spot mammals, reptiles, crustaceans, and over 186 bird species, including the spectacular Scarlet Ibis, Trinidad’s national bird. Two-person minimum per booking required.
The main destination of this sightseeing tour is Maracas Beach, the most popular beach on the North coast of Trinidad. After a historical and architectural view of Port of Spain, you'll journey via the Saddle Road to this beautiful getaway. Magnificent views await you on this 3.5 hour journey.
