Upon arrival, if you don't have a snorkel and life jacket, it's recommended to rent them for observing marine life in the natural pool. Enjoy a stunning view of the beach and Morro do Frade once you arrive. Follow the guide's instructions to the natural pool, where you can take amazing photos with Morro do Frade in the background. The visit lasts 30 minutes in total (June 2022).

I highly rate the natural beauty of this beach with five stars. To reach the natural pool, you will need to walk a 1.5km trail. The trail itself is not too challenging, but I would not recommend it for older individuals. It is necessary to reserve a spot on this trail in advance to ensure access without having to pay for a tour. I suggest visiting the visitor center on the day you arrive on the island to secure a reservation, as they only open appointments a few days in advance and this is a popular tour. At the end of the trail, you will find a natural pool perfect for snorkeling. Equipment for rent, such as snorkels and vests, is available at the trail entrance. It is important to note that the use of sunscreen is not allowed, so be sure to wear hats and UV protective clothing. The marine life and clear water make for an interesting snorkeling experience, but if you are short on time and need to prioritize tours, this may not be a must-do. I recommend focusing on snorkeling at Sancho beach and in the port, where you can spot turtles and even sharks.
