There has never been a better way to experience the winelands than on an electric bicycle. It makes it even more enjoyable and accessible to the whole family. You have the advantage of soaking up the scenery and surroundings at your own pace while not spending much energy as your e-bike assists you in pedaling. Your Guide will assist you in understanding your e-bike and equipment. Then you will depart on your tour starting at Banhoek Chilli oil situated next to the Helshoogte Pass. You will cycle on a safe picturesque farm road and visit 2 wine farms. You will cycle your e-bike through the Banhoek Valley with the majestic Drakenstein and Jonkershoek Mountains in the background to a Wine farm that is tucked away at the end of the valley. Here you will enjoy a wine tasting experience while soaking in the views. After your wine tasting we will cycle toward our second stop to have another tasting or simply just enjoy the views. Join us for a Half Day Guided Vineyard Walk which meanders for 3-5km through the vineyards, offering beautiful views of one of the Stellenbosch most beautiful wine valleys. We will be hiking up Lions Head, Cape Town's most Instragram'able hike. We plan to either catch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean or sunrise from the Hottentots Holland mountains. We enjoy some amazing photo opportunities before our descent. During a sunset hike, we descend in the dark using our flashlights (provided). During a sunrise hike, we may hike the first part in the dark using our flashlights (provided). While the hike is regarded as easier than Table Mountain, it still involves steep rocky and narrow terrain at certain points from about half up way and a section where the use of steel handles and chains need to be used to get up 2 pitches of about 3 meters each (only up and not down). Quite adventurous indeed. This hike has been an age old tradition for locals especially during the full moon and on clear/windless nights/mornings where the lights of the city below dazzle and the moon and stars show off its beauty in the night sky.
