Tiny bioluminescent organisms called "pyrodiniums bahamenses" are the responsible for this wonder of nature. They produce blue-green light from top to bottom of this bay every time you touch or move the water with your kayak!

Upon departing Marina Puerto Del Rey, our guests enjoy the beautiful views of the Cordillera Islands, and the mountains of El Yunque fade into the distance. Our usual beach destination is Culebrita Beach, but our captain might choose another nearby location like Flamenco beach, depending on water conditions for the day.
