After picking up the participants in Coimbra, we went to the village of Mealhada to visit one of the oldest wineries in the region. We walk through the tunnels where thousands of bottles age while we hear in detail about the sparkling wine production process. We have the opportunity to taste a red table wine, a white wine and a sparkling wine. After the visit, we will continue on a panoramic tour where we will pass through several wine estates, where we will stop at a viewpoint of the "Maria Gomes" swing to be able to observe some vineyards. In the village of Cúria, in the old railway station from the 1940s, is the headquarters of the Rota da Bairrada, a place where all the wine producers in the region are represented, giving us the privilege of getting to know the different wine products in a single place. After the wine tasting and visit, we return to the starting point in Coimbra.

The whole story of my life is linked to Our Lady of Fátima and the Little Shepherds. Daughter of Portuguese immigrant parents in Brazil, both from the Fátima region, I feel that I carry with me a hereditary responsibility, since my maternal grandfather was a cousin of the Pastorinhos Jacinta and Francisco. This is an experience prepared with a lot of commitment and care so that you can look through the constructions of the Sanctuary of Fátima to what they lead us to contemplate. We will go to extremes, visit Arouce Castle and the natural beach Nª Srª Piedade at the foot of the mountain and climb to the highest point of Trevim to balance on the popular Lousã swing. Lunch will be served in a typical restaurant with local cuisine, chanfana (goat meat cooked slowly in a wood-fired oven). There are other options if you don't like this typical dish. To end the day, there will still be space for a tasting of PDO sheep and goat cheese, olive oil, bread and wine in the cheese capital, Rabaçal.
