On this tour we take you to discover the best of Lisbon, on a visit through time between past and present. Let's make the city's history known. We can also adjust the tour to your liking, our guide will be available to give you suggestions, so that you enjoy it as much as possible. The aim is for you to have fun, get to know the city we call home! Mainly, take memories with you when you return home.
The Fados Dinner Tour starts with a panoramic tour of the city, from Baixa de Lisboa to Bairro Alto, with stops at some of the best viewpoints in the city, so you can discover Lisbon lit up and its seven hills. We also stroll through one of the oldest neighborhoods in Lisbon, founded by the Arabs, “Al-hama” (Alfama), which means source of hot water, good water. We walk through the cluttered and narrow alleys of old Lisbon, so you can feel the true spirit of the neighborhood. We provide the experience of a Fado Dinner, in a famous restaurant where you can enjoy typical Portuguese cuisine (dish of your choice) and discover the traditional music of FADO that so characterizes Lisbon.
We are going to feast like real Lisboners ! A bit away from the too touristy areas we will over 3 hours, visiting between 3 and 4 spots, including typical Portuguese restaurants, wine bar, and a charming food shop we call “mercearia”. Our goal is to bring you where the local goes, because local knows! You’ll be able to see people from “Lisboa” going out for real Pestiscos (local tapas) and you will feel at the end on the adventure like one of us. Get ready to indulge in legendary dishes like Bacalhau, savory Rissóis, and Peixinhos da Horta, prepared exactly how the locals love them. All the included spots are family-owned business and we are lucky we had the opportunity to know these fantastic people, we’d like you to meet them too! We’ve been trying these many bars and restaurants, dishes and drinks and can’t wait to make you discover the tastiest specialities, as well as pairing wines from the north and the south with what makes Portugal a top culinary destination in the world.
