A unique fishing and outdoor cooking experience in the stunning landscapes of Lofoten. Depending on conditions, we fish by sea, river, or lake, choosing the best location on the day. This tour is suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced anglers. Together with your local guide, you’ll not only catch the fish, you’ll also prepare and cook a complete meal from the catch over an open fire. The guide leads the process, sharing techniques for cleaning, preparing, and cooking the fish, turning the experience into a hands-on outdoor meal, not just a tasting. For those who wish, there is also the opportunity to go sledding near the cabin, adding a playful element to the experience. Discover the picturesque island of Skrova on a short walking trip! This tour focus on the island's culture, traditions and stories shared by the locals. We will walk through some of the most picturesque parts of the island and end on the famous tunnel photo exhibition, representing 100 years of Skrova history. Once the biggest fishing village in Lofoten, Skrova has a long history connected to fishing and whaling, but also a thriving community who has been changing and adapting through times. Together with history, culture, food and fishing, you will hear stories about ghosts and local crimes! Most of the content of this tour is not found on books or internet, most stories have been collected and shared directly by locals from Skrova community by word of mouth. These trips are run by a Portuguese guide living in Skrova, who following her fascination by Norway followed the "Bacalhau" journey back to Arctic waters.

After a short introduction and safety talk we start to paddle along the coastline and through the small channels of islands, where the water is crystal clear and have an unique colour just like in the Caribbean .On the way back we will stop for lunch on one of the small isolated rocky islands. Nordland is the Sea Eagle’s kingdom, here is the largest concentration of Sea Eagles in the whole world. In the immediate area outside Henningsvær, we have several pairs, each with its own territory. We go out in large rib boats that provide close contact with nature and wildlife. If the weather permits, we’ll go out to an Orchard colony and try to find the Grey Seals. They can be 300 kg and about 3 meters long. If we’re lucky, we also come across Minke whales, Porpoises or Killer Whales. On the trip, we admire the wild landscape and Vågakallen, which is one of Lofoten’s highest and most fabled mountains.

You will return to your hotel with your cameras full of photos and your hearts full of amazing memories that you will never forget. Please note that the northern lights are not always visible, the viewing chances depending on factors such as solar activity and weather conditions. The tour will take place only if the conditions are such to allow at least some viewing chances, a safe drive and a pleasant stay outdoors.
Ryten is one of the top winter hiking and snowshoeing destinations in Lofoten. Located in Lofotodden National Park near Fredvang, it offers iconic views of Kvalvika Beach and the dramatic peaks of Moskenes and Flakstad. The route we follow has gentle terrain and no avalanche risk, making it a safe and accessible winter adventure with the right gear and an experienced guide. The hike climbs to 543 meters with over 500 meters of elevation gain. It’s a challenge, but the views from the summit are unforgettable and often the highlight of our guests’ trip to Lofoten. No previous hiking or snowshoeing experience is needed, but you should be comfortable with physical effort and deep snow in some sections along the way.
