We are the only company in Huatulco with a spotter at the Lighthouse that finds the whales and sends to the boat right to them. There is a maximum of 10 guests for the best views and adventures! Wahaca Cooking Classes is the best way to get to know Huatulco with a native chef, you'll learn the history behind the ingredients, traditions and life in rural Mexico. From couple hundred archeological sites opened officially to the public there are only 2 sites in Mexico by the water, One is Tulum in the "Mexican Caribean" and the other one is right here in Huatulco, opened on October 2010 gives you a unique eco-archeological concep, incredible view points and ancient structures dating back more than 2000 years. This adventure begins with a guided visit to the archaeological site of the Copalita Pyramids. There, you will learn about the history and culture of the ancient inhabitants of the region, who built the pyramids more than 2,000 years ago. My name is Sonia and since childhood I have had a great passion for traditional Oaxacan cuisine, and not only because I was born in this beautiful land, but also because I am so proud to have learned from the best cooks in the region. My mother always told me that there is no cooking in clay pots and charcoal, since then I have followed her advice. All dishes will be easy to replicate at home, a digital recipe will be provided. I have attended diplomas in pastries and I make cakes with organic eggs and fresh butter. I would love to welcome you to my house and share the knowledge I have gained over all these years. Classes are available in English and Spanish. We offer classes for vegans and vegetarians as long as they let me know in advance. I live in the village and only with my experience you can visit 2 tradicional houses where the families produce cheese and tortillas, part of our economic activity. we will know our hot springs zone called atotonilco, and we will can give a litte shower to the horses in to the river and ride without sadle like the local people do it in raining season. A Walking Food Tour is a fun way to discover Mexican culture in a personal way. Join us for a delicious journey through the streets of La Crucecita, Huatulco! Along the way, we'll pass by the impressive "Bufadero" blowhole, one of the largest known, and visit the stunning Cacaluta Bay, which has been featured in movies and television commercials. Enjoy an incredible adventure in the spectacular beaches of Huatulco aboard a boat, where we will visit 7 of the 9 Bays of Huatulco. We will make a stop in the Bay of Chachacual where we will visit one of the virgin beaches and practice snorkeling viewing the coral reefs and colorful fish within the Huatulco National Park Protected Natural area. You will make the second stop in the Bay of Maguey where we will have time of approximately 2 hours to swim, enjoy the beach and optional eat in a restaurant.

During the tour there will be a stop to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, we will have a brief explanation on the subject of coffee and we will learn about the healing properties of medicinal plants and products made with medicinal plants by the community.
