Velaa Resort Island

This is the most stunning place I have ever visited. The garden and green space offer the best "pedicure" experience. The sand on the beach is just as white as it appears in the pictures. The food and service are customized to meet the needs of each customer. There is live music and a beautiful show to enjoy. The golf facilities are top-notch. The people here are incredibly friendly. The only thing I would have liked is a few more restaurant options if I were staying for three weeks. If luxury still holds any meaning, it is definitely present here. I am thrilled to be returning in a few days.

The Velaa resort, which claims to be luxurious, is a disappointment. Our seaplane ride was uncomfortable due to the lack of air conditioning on one side, making it a hot and sweaty experience. Additionally, they only provided three small water bottles, leaving my 10-year-old feeling even more hot, sweaty, and thirsty upon arrival at the hotel. To make matters worse, the air conditioning in the room did not extend to the wardrobe or WC area, resulting in a continued sweaty and uncomfortable feeling. If they had labeled themselves as a 4-star hotel, I may not have complained. If you enjoy being disappointed and wasting your money, then this is the place for you. However, I would recommend heading to the Cheval Blanc, a true luxury paradise in the Maldives. In response to the GM's reply, I would like to add that the Cheval Blanc plane is fully air conditioned, so please do not mislead users of this forum. It is true that your resort may not be suitable for guests who are accustomed to luxury. Furthermore, please refrain from spreading false information on this forum, such as claiming that there is air conditioning in the wardrobe and WC area. It is disheartening to see your resort resorting to dishonesty. I wish you the best of luck with your 4-star hotel, but please stop spreading lies.

After spending 12 days at Velaa, we can confidently say that this is the only hotel in the Maldives that we would love to return to. It is absolutely perfect! The resort is even more stunning in person than it appears in the online pictures, and the villas, restaurants, amenities, and service are all top-notch. Our butler, Muiz, took excellent care of us and was an amazing person. He was warm, funny, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay. We truly cannot find any faults with this resort. Every staff member at Velaa is incredibly friendly and always greets you with a smile. During a cocktail event, we had the pleasure of meeting some of the executive team who were all equally kind-hearted. We want to express our gratitude to everyone for providing us with such a wonderful experience! We are already looking forward to our next visit.
