The rooms were comfortable, but my dining experience left much to be desired. As the hotel's restaurant was the only dining option available, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the food.
Initially, the menu seemed promising, offering a variety of dishes that sounded appetizing. However, the reality was far from it. The food was completely devoid of flavor. The noodles had barely a hint of sauce, and the salad was equally uninspiring, consisting of wilted lettuce and a few sad-looking vegetables. Even the bread, which should be a safe bet, was dry and tasteless.
The breakfast buffet wasn't much better. Although there were several options, everything tasted bland.
The dining room itself was pleasant, and the staff was friendly and attentive, but they couldn't make up for the lackluster food. I expected much more from a hotel of this caliber, especially considering the cost of the meals.
Overall, my stay at Tunamaya was marred by the disappointing food. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality of the food. Until then, I can't recommend dining at this hotel.
