Spiaggia Cicognola

Lovely little camp ground on the lake, mostly filled with permanent looking caravans but the people here were able to find a spot for us. It was €26 for the night for two people and a tent which was much more reasonable than other camp grounds we saw in the area which may have been newer. Staff (and other campers) were very friendly despite the fact they mostly had no English and we had no Italian. Toilets and showers are not new but are clean and showers are hot and free with a push button. No toilet paper provided. There is a restaurant on site and across the quiet road at the lake there are lots of sun loungers which can be rented. There was some weed in the water but it mostly looked very clear. Lots of mosquitoes like most places this time of year!

A nice, peaceful family run camp, nice spots for campers or tents, next to the lake, next to the public beach. The camp has its private beach but you have to pay €10 for a day to use it with its sunbeds which was a disappointment. The showers had a free hot running water. The bathrooms were ok. The kitchen area didn’t have a hot running water. No freezer but can be left at the reception. No washing machine to use. There is a bar and a place for children to play. Big supermarkets not far, 5mins by car to get to different shops. We paid €28 for two people in a tent for one night with electricity. No toilet paper at the toilets! Lots of mosquitoes…have a repellent!

Lovely family run camping ! The facilities are quite basic but it's wonderful to be serrounded by lots of Italian families who've obviously been coming here for years ! As we arrived at the end of the afternoon we were able to go to beach for free but then noticed there was another free one for local people just further on. A nice find so close to such a busy shopping area.

Quiet campsite in a beautiful location, very peaceful and relaxing. It's just a shame that the lake has receded in this period and at this point and the beach is very smelly and swimming is absolutely impossible. It's not the campsite's fault obviously... but anyone coming for a weekend would do well to inform themselves first ;-) the landscapes around are beautiful

Great place. Right by the lake. Very clean and quiet. A great place to relax. Very nice and helpful owner and staff. Prices are competitive and definitely worth the offer. I heartily recommend it
