Learn how to cook panzerotti, puccitedde and a typical dessert together with us, drinking good wine and listening music! You will be welcomed by me and my parents in our house in the countryside a few kilometers from Ostuni. We will experiment two very old recipes of our region and and then we will taste the result of our work having lunch or dinner together! This experience is perfect for both adults and children and and in especially if you want to cook somenthing local and not a typical stereotypical italian dish. Panzerotti and puccitedde are typical traditional fried foods seasoned in a variety of ways whose recipe has been handed down from generation to generation and characterize the culinary art of Puglia. Having originated as "poor dishes", they do not require a vast amount of ingredients, but above all the right process, so what better time to find out how best to prepare them! We look forward to meet you soon!!!

We'll begin our visit of the famous Sassi, a maze of cave dwellings that cover the lower part of this incredible city, which has been named the European Capital of Culture for 2019. Matera is a city perched not only on top of these incredible cave dwellings, but also above a dramatic ravine, with sweeping views over the landscape. Although there are buildings in ruins still, the city is vibrant with life and culture as many structures have been restored into beautiful cave hotels and restaurants. The time spent in Matera will be a walking tour with stops at Museo Casa Grotta, a renovated cave with period artifacts that gives the visitor a great sense of what life was like before its citizens were relocated out of the Sassi in the 1950s. We will also visit the beautiful Chiesa di Santa Lucia & the famous Santa Maria De Idris. We enjoy 3-course lunch in a local restaurant and visit to a winery and wine tasting.

Visit of a traditional farm dating back to 1800, where, from 5 generation, different kind of cheese have been produced from the milk milked by its own grazing cows. It is possible to see the whole production process, from the manual milking of the “Frisona” cows to the cheese tasting. Our guests can also enjoy themselves : following the instructions of the Master Cheese Maker they can try to make mozzarella and fresh cheeses such as giuncata or primosale. Final tasting of fresh and seasoned cheeses with the honey produced in the farm and bread baked in a wood oven , with a good glass of local wine.

A slow and pleasant journey aboard our Tuk Tuks along the path of the ancient Romans, along the Via Traiana. The experience will be a real historical re-enactment starting from the medieval village - where its history will be briefly explained - and will then extend towards the farms where the millenary olive trees of Puglia are present. You will have the opportunity to learn about the history of planting and the origin of the milling techniques, explained by our drivers. Upon returning, we will stop at the sales point of a farm to have a free tasting of extra virgin olive oil.

Ostuni is one of the main tourist destinations of Puglia, called "White City" for the houses painted with white lime in the historical center. The guided tour of Ostuni will start from Libertà square, where there is the grand palace of the municipality and where stands the baroque column of Sant'Oronzo, almost 21 meters high. In Libertà Square you will also visit the archaeological excavations of the ancient walls and the defensive tower before taking Cattedrale street, full of local craft shops, commercial activities and typical local food product. You will then reach the cathedral dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta built in the fifteenth century. The façade is characterized by three elegant ogival portals and a large rose window of 24 rays. Following the tour will continue along the Aragonese walls where you can admire a beautiful landscape of the Valle d'Itria until you reach the Porta Nova gate, one of the ancient gate of the town.
