I haven't experienced such a warm welcome in years. The villa is meticulously maintained, with spacious rooms and equally large bathrooms. The cleanliness is impeccable. Breakfast is delightful, featuring exceptional mocha coffee and always fresh, locally sourced products. I highly recommend this "Relais" to anyone who values true relaxation, cleanliness, and above all, kindness. You'll find all three here. For a nearby beach, I suggest Praia Longa, which is very close to Relais Ruggiero.

Relais Ruggiero is more than just a place to unwind amidst nature and comfort; it's a place that feels like home. We will always remember Rita's kindness and her amazing cakes, along with the advice and delightful conversations with Franco and Daniele. They truly are the heart of the Relais ❤. Each room is exquisitely decorated with attention to every detail. From our room, named Terra, we enjoyed a stunning view of the sea and the swimming pool. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the bed is spacious and comfortable. Every morning, we were greeted with a rich breakfast featuring homemade desserts, fruit, and other local delicacies. Additionally, just a few steps from the Relais, there are charming coves where you can admire the crystal-clear seabed teeming with various fish species or embark on boat excursions. The swimming pool is comfortable and perfect for relaxation. There are so many more things to share, but nothing compares to experiencing it firsthand. We highly recommend it!!! We stayed for a week, and it flew by... but we will definitely be back and can't wait.

We spent a week at the Relais Ruggiero and had an amazing time! - The Relais Ruggiero is a stunning, clean, and tranquil spot, ideal for unwinding, with a lovely garden. Some rooms offer sea views, and the beach is just a short walk away (a bit steep, but the path is good) - excellent for snorkeling! - The pool is fantastic and meticulously maintained every day. - Daniele and his parents provided plenty of recommendations for dining, swimming, and snorkeling, and they prepare a wonderful breakfast each morning with freshly baked cake and more. - The nearest village, Le Castella, is small but charming, with numerous restaurants and gelato shops 😃🍦. You can walk there, but a car is necessary to explore the surrounding area further. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay, and we highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday in Calabria!

We stayed for 10 days. It's a beautiful location where the countryside meets the sea... And then there's the long-awaited swimming pool 😜😜😜. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the cleanliness is excellent! Rita and Franco made us feel at home with lots of chats ❤️. Stunning location, just a stone's throw from the sea yet offering the peace and quiet of the countryside. The rooms were extremely comfortable and impeccably clean. Breakfast was outstanding. The owners were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. They catered to our every need, especially since we were traveling with a two-year-old girl. Highly recommended!
