Lots of potential but...!!!
We were wandering around the coast looking for a nice beach and when we arrived we were attracted by a beautiful beach and beautiful sea.
The beach has a single row of umbrellas on the right and two rows on the left (quiet), in the middle a beautiful wooden structure that houses the bar and restaurant.
The price of two sunbeds and umbrellas is €20.00, not a little but if surrounded by services it can also be fine.
And it is precisely on the services that the Chiringuito sins:
Unpresentable bathrooms
Showers not up to par
Restaurant with excellent service but some prices to review.
Bathrooms: two (I can't define them) let's say prefabricated, smelly and without a key, you don't have the possibility to close them (absurd).
Showers: paid only, passed off as hot but actually cold, minimal and short-lasting water jet (cost 50 cents), total absence of a free cold shower for guests.
Restaurant: really good service, but here too some flaws, we ordered a sandwich, a tongs, a bottle of water and a can of coke, total €26.50.
Sandwich (tomato, mozzarella and ham) paid 9 euros... not on the price list, I couldn't imagine paying more for it than in Costa Smeralda.
A tong on the price list marked at €9.00 arrived at €10.50 because on the price list on the last page there was a note reporting an increase, I think due to the change in quality of the mozzarella.
Then water, coca-cola and covered... covered??
At the seaside, on the beach for lunch... cover charge???
If you ask for 20 euros for a daily set on the beach you must provide adequate services... I attach photos.
"I am extending the review to reply to the owner who kindly responded.
First of all let me introduce myself, my name is Dereck King, it's my name, I don't hide behind any alias, it's a foreign name, he mistakenly thought that someone was hiding to vent (as he wrote) malice, I don't need it , I wouldn't be a "local guide" on Google.
If there is something wrong I write it down, because often it is in person that notes can be taken too personally.
I fully agree with you that ignorance reigns supreme but that doesn't mean those who come and respect others should lose out.
Bathrooms: you write that you chose to remove the keys, does it seem normal to you that the door was opened while I was in the bathroom?
Many bathrooms have levers, hooks or anything else that cannot be taken away, can you check this as a suggestion?
Sandwich: a sandwich for 9 euros is considered expensive in any part of Italy, with all due respect even more so in Bonifati.
Table service: I'm having lunch in many other places and I haven't paid for it yet, but I accept your point of view.
Showers: The "hot" shower I paid for arrived cold, and lasted much less than a minute.
I'm not going to look outside the beach for a cold shower!!!
Parking: I forgot to mention it, one of the few free parking spaces, good.
Final: you are right, the services are paid for and by asking 20 euros per day for a set, some basic services should be guaranteed because they are paid more than well.
