You’ll spend two days and one night on Mount Rinjani trekking, Starting from Sembaln village to the crater rim of Sembalun, the summit, and back to Sembalun village. The trek will start from Sembalun village at an altitude of 1100 m and will also take place in Sembalun village. This route will be pampered with a vast landscape, a little long path, and a bit of heat during crossing the meadow. To get to the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2.600 m, you will need a lot of stamina because you have to climb five hills that are very high and challenging. The 3 day / 2 night climb to Rinjani Summit Lake is the most popular Rinjani Trekking package option. The trek passes through undulating open grasslands up to the campsite at Sembalun Crater Rim. Here you can see amazing views of the sunset overlooking the crater lake, the summit of Mount Rinjani and northern Lombok. After a light breakfast at 3AM we commence the challenging three hour trek to the summit in time for sunrise. We then return to our campsite on the crater rim, where we pause for a hearty breakfast. The final day of the Mount Rinjani Trek as we walk back to Senaru we descend through the jungle for approximately 6 hours and stop for lunch just before journey’s end.
