Theros beach

Ideal spot for a getaway. This place was incredibly welcoming and cozy, with outstanding service and lounge music playing in the background. The beach does have quite a few pebbles, so I'll be sure to bring water shoes next time for easier walking. The only downside was a group of US tourists who sat a few chairs away from us and, as is often the case, started talking and yelling loudly, disrupting the peaceful atmosphere.

The location is quite challenging to reach and is situated far from the public bus routes. A taxi from Fera costs around €45 one way. Overall, we found the service to be subpar, making the experience not worth the effort to get there. The umbrella rental on the beach is standard, but other beach clubs include the umbrella with a per person minimum. It took more than 30 minutes to receive water. We ordered two cocktails, which were delicious but rather expensive, especially on an already pricey island. We were really looking forward to visiting, but after our experience, we realized it was something we could have skipped.

This bar is the sole establishment on the beach, and it was absolutely stunning. It boasts a modern design with various options to choose from: the restaurant, the veranda, or the sun beds, which cost between 10 and 20 euros for two incredibly comfortable beds and an umbrella. We spent the majority of our day there and could have easily stayed longer. When we were about to leave, we discovered our car's battery was dead, but one of the staff members kindly used his jump cables to help us get back on the road. Exceptional help and hospitality. We will definitely return.

After reading numerous positive reviews on Google, we decided to give Theros Wave Bar a try, and thank goodness we did. This bar is undoubtedly situated on the best beach in Santorini. Since public buses don't reach this spot, we took a taxi. The journey from the main road felt like traversing a lunar landscape until we arrived at the breathtaking beach bar. Sunbeds were available for 10 euros, and drinks were served on the beach from the top bar. The beach ambiance was classy and quieter compared to other beaches. For lunch, we headed upstairs to the restaurant, where the view was even more spectacular. We enjoyed potato wedges and vegetable risotto with a vodka tonic. The music was lively, and the atmosphere was vibrant. The service was both efficient and polite. Although it was a bit pricey, it was worth every penny. They even called a taxi for our return to Fira, which cost around 25-30 euros. Theros Wave Bar is a hidden gem in Santorini that should not be missed!

An excellent spot! Sunbeds are priced at around €10 each. We spent the entire day here, and for two beds, numerous drinks, and food, it cost us about €100 in total. Great value for money! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking great care of us—especially when they helped us jump-start our rental car that broke down. The beach is stunning and tranquil. Highly recommended!
