Kasonisi is a small rocky islet separated from Samos by a narrow strait. The real attraction is the small strait with its isolated location and turquoise water. The strait is less than 50 meters wide and with less than 1 meter depth at the most shallow part. We start by boarding on the boat in Pythagorion harbor to go along the east coast. The first stop is at Kassonisi. Here we jump in the water directly from the boat. Then we continue towards the beach of Posidonion. Here you can choose to either swim directly from the boat or sunbathe and swim from the beach.

The boat departs from tourist port approximately at 09:00. The ship will arrive at Symi Island port after approximately 1+1/2 hour and remains there for 3+1/2 hours. The guests will be having a guided tour along the narrow streets of the village Yalos and the opportunity to visit the local sponges and spices shops. Afterwards the guests can have lunch at traditional restaurants and can have free time to spend on their own, where they can explore the village and take some beautiful photos. Afterwards the ship will sail to the next stop, Panormitis Monastery. They will have about 45 minutes to visit the monastery. Visiting Mamma Mia Chapel , the church that is situated on an impressive Rock with the number of 110 steps. St Ioannis beach , Spilia, Mavraki & Keramoto some of the hidden beaches we explore by boat and spend some time swimming. The monastery is renowned for its towering bell tower, which is the largest Baroque-style bell tower in the world. Also, there are two museums, one ecclesiastical and one secular for both visits. A tour for those interested in local history, folklore and culture. The evening begins at the church of The Archangels, where you get a wonderful view and a short tour of the interesting, old church. We then continue to the Church of The Virgin Mary and after we have visited it, there is a short footpath that will take us down to the Evagelistria Monastery, built to be well hidden from pirates in a lush valley. This is the only monastery on Skiathos that is still active and it has a fascinating 200-year history, starting with the making of the first Greek flag. After a tour of the premises and the local museum, which houses a rare collection of icons, relics and traditional costumes, you will get some time on your own before departing. All in all a lovely way to spend part of your evening in peaceful and tranquil surroundings, untouched and undisturbed by the modern way of life.
