Poseidon hotel beach

We stayed at Poseidon Palace for 3 days over Christmas for the second year in a row. The hotel offers great value for money during this time of year. The rooms are very spacious, perfect for a family of 4, with two separate rooms (connected by a sliding door), two TVs, and a large bathroom. The view of Mount Olympus is stunning. We opted for half board and found the food to be delicious. The service was friendly, and the staff were always helpful and polite. The area has a variety of activities to offer, including archaeological sites, hiking trails, and museums.

The staff at the beach were unnecessarily rude, and the buffet did not have enough options for vegans or clear indications of which foods were vegan. It is not a welcoming environment for queer individuals, and the food was overly salty, which can be harmful for some people.

It was a delight to stay at your beach. The rooms were fantastic, the daily buffets offered a variety of options, and the surroundings of the hotel were simply beautiful to explore. A special shoutout to the wonderful staff at the beach bar! Your hospitality truly enhanced our trip 🤘🤝😍 Thank you for hosting us, and we look forward to returning in the future!

The rooms were extremely small and the bathrooms were in desperate need of renovation. I even encountered cockroaches in the bathroom. They do not provide mattresses for babies. Additionally, there were several homeless dogs roaming around the pools, which was not ideal, especially when with young children. The beach in front of the complex was small and rocky, so we did not use it. Our friends mentioned that the staff asked them to pay for using the beach, even though they were guests of the hotel. Despite these issues, the complex itself was nice, with a good pool for children and a beautiful view. Most of the staff in the restaurant, bar, and tavern were friendly and played with my kids. Special thanks to Irina at the bar, who was very sweet and made our experience enjoyable.

The hotel and food were just okay, but the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which is why I would give it 5 stars. We had a great time with the animation team and the staff at the restaurant and bars. They were all so kind! Sending best wishes to Demi and the team at the beach bar:)
